Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Hey Scooter,
I'm pretty sure I've got all of your guys on the roster. I've been updating the main chart as I've been uploading them onto the "master roster". If you see any guys missing on the chart, feel free to give me a heads up. Nice job with Ozzie Smith by the way!
Keep em coming everybody. I'd like to start a season with these by June 8th.
Hey PJ,
Thanks for the positive feedback on Ozzie. Both you and drsublime are quite talented face makers!
It doesn't get much better than your Mark McGwire and drsublime's Randy Johnson...
There's a few of my players that aren't on the master roster. I will
let you know but right now I'm just creating faces.
The big list is so I can keep tract as I build players.
When I stop to think how much progress has been made with Video Baseball games it's amazing. I remember not too long ago being fascinated with a baseball game with dots that represented players.
Keep up the good work guys!

Wow, lot of teachers on here. I've been doing 6th-7th and 8th grade P.E. for almost 7 years now. It's pretty much a dream job, just kind of fell into that position. I went to school for Elementary Education, but this job found me first.
Anyone old enough to remember Baseball Stars for Nintendo? That's the game that first blew my mind. You could create your own players names, pick out their picture, adjust their stats, create your own team, start a season and keep stats. The gameplay was really awesome as well. My friends and I played that non stop the summer of 1990, good times.Comment

Yeah, some of us on here are actually (gasp) adults!
Baseball Stars was the best. I made the teams all stars and kept actual books of my games.
Back on topic, I know some may think it's blaspheme, but I'm thinking about the possibility of doing a fantasy draft with these. I may not be able to go through with it, but I was thinking it would even out some of the younger franchises. What I'm wondering though is, who would be the first pick?Comment

I still have notebooks filled with Baseball Stars stats
I think Bedwardsroy wanted to take out all of the non top 40 guys out of the roster to make it easier to do a fantasy draft.
I'm 34 but am with 12-14 year olds all day, so they keep me young.

A suggestion: Instead of Willie Davis CF can you put Matt Kemp? Considering Kemps last year. Willie D. was great but he's no Matt Kemp.Comment

I am hoping to produce completely accurate stats but scale the lead to have as few as possible overall bar full players.
I will use an all-time player rating system so fantasy drafts are more realisticUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

I know I was thinking of the same thing, doing a fantasy draft with these. Like you Joey, I wouldn't even know where to begin picking my first pick. It would be a tough one, but I guess with any number of players you can't go wrong with the pick. Kind of will have this season going, and then I downloaded the Fictional roster and have been doing a franchise with them. So I should stay busy with this years game.Comment

not many kids or teens probably really care about having an authentic randy johnson etc (hey i just wana re-play the 01 world series)
fantasy drafts are made for fantasy rosters so nothing to worry about
1st pick.. Barry Bonds. easy, 700+ HR/500+ SB and a gold Glover...
only negative he has is a sub .300 BA for his career~~~~~~~~~

Sublime, you've got to learn how to recognize sarcasm when you see it!
Bonds would be an excellent choice for #1. It would probably come down to he, Mick and Willie for me.I'll more than likely choose the Giants and make my home field the Polo Grounds (except for my Vita games).

Wow, I wish I would have found this thread before I started one of my own. I feel like a loser now.
Great work guys, when is your roster due to be completed?Comment
