i'm having a hard time getting motivated to make the last four.. Mike Koplove, Andy Fox and Augie Ojeda.. and Eric Byrnes (ugh i hated him but he needs to be on the roster)

are there maybe better choices for the last reliever and middle infielders? maybe move Orlando Hudson to the D'Backs?
(he won 2 gold gloves an had an all star appearance, he was never an all star in toronto), and remove Augie Ojeda

and maybe replace Andy Fox(2 1/2 years as a backup) with Alex Cintron(5 years, 3 as a starter)


and replace Koplove with Oscar Villareal (who set the team record for single season appearances by a reliever) or Greg Swindell/Bret Prinz/Tony Pena etc


or even repalce Fox or Ojeda with Alex Cabrera, i know he only played one year in arizona or in the MLB at all, but he's japans all time single season HR king and would be a fun add in (and i have a near perfect cap i made for him already)

so... thoughts on replacing Fox/Ojeda with Cintron and Cabrera?

and Koplove with Villareal or Greg Swindell (who played more games w/ the dbacks then he did for any other team)

i still have to make the last three for the dbacks, just want to figure out which three

I vote for Cintron (with the nonexistant say I have for this roster)! I loved what he did in Arizona.

Alex Cintron and Greg Swindell are up in the vault as of... now.

kinda want to do Alex Cabrera for the last one, just not sure.

could just move Orlando Hudson to Arizona, but then we'd need another player for Toronto.

i also re-did my Matt Williams, his nose and mouth height were off, fixed it.. up in the vault.
personally, i'm very happy w/ this version of Matt Williams.







i've also uploaded a roster file w/ All of my caps (and i think a few others i liked), might make it easier

Is anyone in here working on a John Wetteland, David Wells, or Mark Mulder currently? I tried my hand at Wetteland myself last night but I gave up...not even close to the level of quality in this thread.

Alex Cabrera is done, last player for the Diamondbacks, Arizona is complete!

Cabrera is obviously a just for fun Mr. Irrelevant, as there were better options who had better baseball accomplishments while in Arizona, but... he only played one year of MLB ball, and he played in Arizona, before going to Japan and tying the single season HR mark in Japan (along w/ Oh and Rhodes) and I'd rather have him on the bench then Augie Ojeda or Andy Fox (both are BORING)

just an FYI to everyone, this has been a lot of fun, but also a lot of work to build the roster for just ONE of the teams (and various other personal favorite players of mine)



it's been a blast and can't wait for the rest of the people involved w/ this project to complete their portions

I'm pretty much done making players at this point, i might make or re-make (Livan Hernandez has a horrible face in the game also) a few here and there but the daily work is done
