The McFarlane was a D rated guy, not a big deal but I was trying to stay away from the lower rated guys. I was always a big fan of him, I might just make him when I get the time.

One of my co-workers is a relative of George Sisler, had a nice 20 minute conversation with her about him, and mentioned this project were doing here. Scooter did a great version of him.

My bad...though in the context of the rest of the players he probably should be a D rated player. Burks (Col) & Tudor (STL) in the vault.

Is there a trick to recreating player likeness or is it just a skill you either have or you don't?

Appreciate all the work you guys are doing, is everything you've done up to this point already in the vault?

I believe its a skill. I like most people I assume don't pay attention to the small details of people's faces. I would be a horrible crime scene witness. lol

These guys that recreate such great likenesses have to have an acute eye for detail. Like anyother artist i assume. I'm sure they have little tricks that they use but to me it is a skill that not everyone possesses.

I think it's just like drawing a picture. Some people can get things spot on, while others don't have the knack for it. I've been playing this game for 4 years and I just started looking back on guys I made years ago. I've seen some pretty good improvement from year to year. The only problem with this project is trying to get through 1200 players as soon as possible. I'll admit I'm speeding through players faces pretty quick. I've spent up to 45 minutes trying to get player's face perfect before. Now, if I can blur my eyes and make out the player, then they're done. Scooter's the one whose likeness for players has been eerie. I think the main place where people have problems with are the players nose. There's a lot of detail that goes into that.

Makes sense....I've never gotten it down perfect like some of you guys, so I have a great appreciation for the ones who can do it so well

Everything I've done for the roster is on the chart right now. I'll be out of town till Monday, hope to see some more guys in the vault when I get back. The 25 man could be done within a week.
