I don't think you can change the control other than at the very start of the season.Comment

Re: 2012 Transaction / Injury /DL EditsThread
I'm about to change the opening post with a complete revamp including all transactions as well as correct injury dates. Putting a copy of the original in here in case anyone still wants to access it. However, the new revamped list is much more comprehensive and is what I will be updating from here on out.
UPDATE (04/11/2012): To increase realism I started from scratch with all of the injuries so that players are injured on the date that they got injured. It took a while to go through each injured players game logs to see when they last played so I could properly injure them. I have all the injuries up through 4/4/2012 (the last very large batch of DL additions was on this date) completed now but will wait on putting up the new list until I've added all of the transactions as well. The transactions will not only include players called up to replace injured players but will also include spring training send downs so that we can send players to the correct teams during spring training as it happened in 2012.
If you are simply looking for transaction/DL data information as it comes available strut24 has been kind enough to continue updating this thread like he has done in his own threads in the past.
Someone last year had kept a running tab or injuries and transactions in order to keep franchises current when running under 30 team control. I didn't see a thread like that for this year yet, so with the OSFM looming I figured I might as well get one going. If you happen to be the person who did that last year and I'm stepping on your toes, please let me know as that is not my intention.
Last year I ran my franchise a couple weeks behind schedule so that I could accurately enter injuries based on retroactive DL announcements. In this thread I'll plan to update the dates as the season goes and information becomes available, listing the exact injury times to use so if you're running your franchise behind schedule, your players will return when their human counterparts did.
Anyhow, here is what you need to do in order to set your franchise up for these edits.
Team Select Screen
1. Press the square button to "Select All" the teams.
2. Press start to continue
Mode Entry Options Screen
1. Fantasy Draft - Off
2. CPU Roster Control - Off
3. CPU Trading - Off
4. Instant Trades - On
5. Ignore Budgets - On
6. Force Trades - On
6. Designated Hitter - Auto
7. Press X to continue
To Injure Someone
1. Use the L2 and R2 buttons to cycle through teams.
2. When you found the team you want to edit go into Disabled List which starts you in the "Injured Players" screen.
3. Press L1 or R1 to bring up Mange Injuries Screen.
4. Scroll to the player you want to injure and press x
5. Choose the injury type and duration and then choose "Confirm Injury". The player should now show up as injured in the list. (on a side note, you can choose the player again to remove the injury as well)
6. Press L1 or R1 to return to the "Injured Players" screen and you'll see the player in there.
7. Select the player by pressing X and you will be given the option to move them to the 15-Day DL or 60-Day DL
=========================================
TODO: Add non injury transactions once OSFM is published.
TODO: Add injured players not on the DL
=========================================
I tried to get injuries as close to accurate as possible based on the information that's out there. This list only includes players that have been move to the DL. I'll make another update tomorrow night to include tomorrows DL udpates as well as injured players not on the DL at this time.

Re: 2012 Transaction / Injury /DL EditsThread
How far will this thread be updated? I'm not going to be starting my Franchise until v3 comes out. So do you think by early May that these will updated to opening day? All i want is up to opening day because after that i split my franchise off from real life.Comment

Re: 2012 Transaction / Injury /DL EditsThread
I know this might be a little off topic, but I was hoping somebody here could answer a question for me...
I like to play 1-team control in my franchise, but like to start the season as accurate as possible, so I plan to manually injure all of the players prior to Opening Day, and then turn injuries to auto after that. My question is will the CPU controlled teams put the players that I manually injure onto the DL at some point, or are they just going to leave them injured on the bench?Comment

Re: 2012 Transaction / Injury /DL EditsThread
In case you've already inputed these through 03/30/2012 I had to make corrections to 03/30/2012. I added the following...
St. Louis Cardinals
- RP Scott Linebrink - Move to 15-Day DL
Washington Nationals
- RP Chad Durbin - ReleaseLast edited by Halara; 04-23-2012, 12:21 AM.Comment

Re: 2012 Transaction / Injury /DL EditsThread
I don't think (but not 100% sure) that you can manually injure players on teams you don't control unless you have control of all teams. What you could do though is set it up for 30 team control but keep a separate set of settings for the team you want to play with. Then when you get to the regular season put the settings in "Mode Specific" for the teams you don't control to auto. The setting "Injury Management" is the one that will have them automatically use the DL.Comment
