Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2012 Roster - Spring Training Edition Available Now
Question:
Download OSFM roster. Looks great. Trying to update the last day or so of transactions that occured. So I gone under roster control and trying to release RP Chad Durbin WAS to free agent pool so I can add him to ATL minor. Don't want to do a trade but when in Roster Control - Player Movement I bring up WAS and Free Agent list...but how do I release him with out WAS taking on one of the other FA. Or do I have to trade him?Comment

Hey Knight looks like my latest Yankees prospects didn't make it in.
RF Zolio Amonte - changed him to skintone 6
SS Luis Nunez
2B Ronnie Mustelier - released anyways
1B Jorge Vazquez - released anyways
RF Mason Williams
i can post and export them to the vault if people want them

OK, baby is down and now it is time to get down with the get down! I read through the posts and I gave two suggestions for the OS. One was to lighten up on the A potentials and give every team their fix. Two was to remain extremely stringent on A potentials period. I reviewed, reviewed, and reviewed some more until I came to the final conclusions that Baez, Marte (Starling), Lee (Hak-Ju) and Schoop should be A potentials.
I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the project. Not one of you goes without recognition.
I think that it is also very important that we keep the criticism constructive and works towards the v2 release where everything is touched up.
Anyone has any prospect questions or potential ratings questions, feel free to ask.Comment

I dunno. But, after looking at OSFM I should have made him an A. I personally like Trevor Rosenthal better so that's why I didn't.OSFM St. Louis Cardinals 2011, 2012, 2013

Despite owning The Show on the PS3 since 10, this will be the first time I'll start a franchise with Knight's roster. I know I won't be disappointed. Thanks to everyone involved! When the Giants come to town, it's Bye Bye Baby...Comment

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2012 Roster - Spring Training Edition Available Now
I've heard from a few people that player's barely progress now. If that's the case, I have no issues with there being more A rated players or a ton of B rated players with higher than usual attributes (for OSMF rosters).
From what I heard, players with B potentials will basically be worthless for years to come unless they are rated a little higher than they usually are.
If there's a stat simulation thread, can someone post a link? If there's not, someone should create one.
Anyways here's what I found.... after 2 yrs. (A pots only)
OAK
Cespedes looks like he's a 97/100
Choice and AJ Cole are a tad high.
BOS
Middlebrook(s) - @ 25 is one of the better 3bs. - His name is spelled wrong.
Bogaerts and Ranaudo could probably be tuned down some. Ranaudo is already a #3 starter ratings wise, that should be his upside during his peak yrs.
SD- Perfect. I think rags did them, props to him, OVR to age to POT is perfect.
COL- Arenado is a bit high, I'd say he's a yr ahead of where he should be.
PIT- Taillon is their 4th best starter. As good as he is, I can't see him going from low A to the bigs in 2 yrs. Him and Cole have virtually = OVRs.
MIL- Its was pointed out earlier but the Brewers are on track to have 6 cy young contenders.
CIN- Billy Hamilton is one of the better SS already (at age 23). Should probably be tuned down, he might be MLB ready but not elite to start 2014.
WAS- Rendon is still a yr or two away from being a starting caliber 3b.
TEX- Kills me to say it but Profar could probably use a bump. He's still a yr or 2 away.
OTHER
Lindor, Starling is MLB ready @ 21. Can see it with Lindor but not Starling.
This sim was for two yrs.
Kinght/Ridin- I could keep doing these, I'm sure you guys are still testing. It's up to you whether you want my feedbackCosmetic Guides to the Show v2 Rosters
