Lol I tend to do a whole bunch of trades, completely restocking the farm system, but keeping the MLB roster fairly accurate (I like to pick up 1 big time OF bat right away and keep it that way, then trade Myers to clear up some money). Then two months into the franchise, I get sick of the rosters not being accurate so I restart the whole thing. Lol

      Scott,

I uploaded a Quintin Berry (Tigers) CAP to the Player Vault. You might be interested in using it for your roster. I updated the face (hence the CAP) along with equipment and got his stance from OSFM (Luke Scott). Everything is correct (numbers, age, height, weight) so all you have to do is plug in the ratings.

Let me know what you think, it should be under the author DetroitStyle42.

          Scott,

Where you at in the process? Anything I can do to help speed up the process?

I aborted the minor league process simply because there wasn't a good place to get the split stats and easily copy them over to excel. If someone can find a good site and let me know how to import it over (I tried jeezy's site but every time I copied to excel the format got messed up). Let me know what/if there is anything I can do to help.

Very funny. Fielder and Darvish are having great years for those teams, aren't they?

See, they don't even consider positional needs. I've seen teams with 4 or 5 A rated outfielders, it's ridiculous.

Sorry for the silly questions but what does ZiPS stand for? And, is there a post that details what exactly has been edited?

I've heard real good things about this roster, so would like to get a little background on the project.

It's using ZiPS projections to make franchise more realistic, and includes the recent draft picks.

It's just a projections system. baseballthionkfactory.org has them.

Is there any way Astros draftee Rio Ruiz can be added to the rosters? If not, that's completely fine. I'll add him manually. Just figured you guys could since you're much better than I am at this CAP thing. Lol

The Astros are set to sign fourth-rounder Rio Ruiz for $1.85MM, according to Keith Law of ESPN.com (via Twitter).  Houston …
