Re: Turn Back The Clock: 1994 Season Replay-The Season That Never Was
I went up against the White Sox instead(last series of the season)....
Great game.
Dennis Martinez vs. Jack McDowell.
Sox up early 3-0, but in the eighth down 3-1...Omar Vizquel doubled in 3 runs with the bases loaded to have the Indians go up 4-3.
It was closer by committee for the Indians in '94, so I went with Eric Plunk who walked one in the ninth, but that was it....
Lofton was leading the A.L. with 76 steals
Belle was ridiculous with a .348 BA and 48 HR's.(neither leading the league)
Eddie Murray was leading the A.L. with 136 RBI.

Kansas City will be completed tonight.
I'll also go back now after each team and do some "cleanup" ....as the league takes shape now.
On to Minnesota next and that will complete the AL East-AL Central-NL East-NL Central and just leave us with the two West divisions with four teams each.

The great thing about this roster compared to other historical ones that it will have more than just the 25 man rosters, and the bench players will be as accurate and detailed as the top playersComment

A couple of weeks at the VERY minimum(it takes one full day per team. Sometimes I can't put in a full day of editing)

Sometimes wives don't appreciate the art that is roster making. I know my fiancé does not. "I have never sat here and watched you play that game all you do is make guys. Honey that's weird.". My typical response is "if you played baseball you would understand.". After all can anyone's wife appreciate that double chin and red rat tail that John Kruk had from 1990-1993? Furthermore does any girlfriend know that Lenny Dykstra's "Under Lip" should be pushed up and out to replicate the immense amount of chaw/dip he had while playing? I think notLast edited by jethrotull; 08-04-2012, 12:46 PM.Comment

Hey...great idea for guys who chew/chaw.
I'm ashamed to say...I've never thought of that! :o
I'm just finishing up the Dodgers....they will be done tonight.
...and everything is looking great.
This set will be a blast to play.

Re: Turn Back The Clock: 1994 Season Replay-The Season That Never Was
Im excited for it, I have plugging away at the 1990 roster and it has been so hard taking a run at it after the 1987 set last year. I hope they let us import teams next year and rosters. Looking forward to this big timeComment
