Dude because of guys like you, Knight, JMeyers, Bedwardsroy, PJSnell, Riding....so many to name...The Show has unlimted replay value.

Bro I am doing my second 1987 season replay as that set is legendary man. I can't thank you enough for taking that on. That was my true era of baseball...being 17 years old that year...I lived, breathed and slept baseball. That year in particular was amazing. The year of the so called juiced ball. I also have a second year Yankees franchise (they are ideal for franchise play thanks to you and JMeyers) but I am loving just playing single season with roster control to keep all the lineups exactly the way they were that year. The job you did on the faces.....awesome.

I can't wait for your 1990 set and Knights 94 set. BTW I hope you have DL the 1984 set that was done.....great roster as well. Playing a Royals season replay. And the 1996 set that was done....wow.

    All you guys.

    Thanks a million times.

See that is why we do it, I am sure Knight can agree, because once you can't do it anymore physically it's really the only way to enjoy the game you grew up loving.

The rosters that Knight, Riding, PJSnell, Bedwardsroy and Jemeyers put out are the reason The Show can't even be compared to other sports titles. The fact that The Show allows you to create and make the game as you remember it makes it the best sports title of all time. When next year rolls around I can only promise that I want to be more prepared, could you imagine an 86 set, 90 set and 94 set? Now if only they allowed retired jerseys and team importing.......plus Tiger Stadium!

Sorry for taking the thread over for a post Knight, but like I said before very excited to see the 94 set!

Agreed, and I definitely appreciate allmthe effort that goes into these rosters. I will say that there are some outstanding roster-makers for NBA 2K (Portlandblazer and MKHarsh33 are my favorite) that produce high-quality classic rosters, so The Show isn't alone in that regard.

Re: Turn Back The Clock: 1994 Season Replay-The Season That Never Was

I finished the Texas 25 man roster last night and will complete the team tonight.
Why did they have to use so many pitchers in 1994?

              Then on to S.F.

I'm jumping back and forth from NL to AL to keep the heat up on myself!

                Knight,
Did you sneak Michael Jordan somewhere on the White Sox minor league roster?

                      Will the Thrill!

                      On to San Fran tonight(hopefully)....

                      6 to go.

                        5 to go.

I completed San Fran(well...I will tonight...I missed a few faces on players I did at work (info/ratings only) and forgot to do them last night

In typical 1990's fashion....I took the Mets into AT&T for a quick test game and came away shaking my head.

I gave Dwight Gooden the spot start vs. Mark Portugal.

Runs in the first and second gave me the early lead and Gooden was pitching very well through the first three.

In the 4th however with 1 out and men on first and third....Guess who started a barrage that wouldn't end for 7 runs. We never recovered and took a terrible loss, 10-3.
                        Three Giants homered......
                        Guess Who
                        Matt Williams(another of course)
                        and Mark Carreon.

Honestly.....L.A. is going to have a tough time keeping S.F. out of first in this set. Pitching was the Giants weakness that year...The West should be a good battle.

                        On to the Angels tonight.

I can't wait for this. Being a Jays fan no doubt their hay day was in the early 90's, they had such a good team back then. Going to be a blast playing with some of the greats.

I may run with the Blue Jays myself for this season replay. I always enjoy that team. I may even run them in the 1990 franchise set coming out fro, JethroTull as well. I always loved the late 80's early 90's Blue Jays teams. Great players up and down.
