Hey man nice work, good to see someone still updating this game

I read that you have your own rating system, I guess that explains why Cabrera and Fielder are ranked so low on the Tigers roster. Surprised to see a guy like Al Alburqurque ahead of them lol. Anyway, I don't like to nitpick, and I agree with others the Joe Random thing is weird, but if you're still doing prospect requests I'd love to see more Tigers guys if possible.

I don't see where he is rated higher than those position players. Can we change player numbers without screwing the roster up? Overbay is 55 on the Yankees.

Hmm, maybe I looked at it wrong, I don't have the game up now but I think Cabrera was the 7th highest rated player on the team and Fielder was somewhere around 12.

Al-Al was top 5 I think, Dotel was up there too & I think he was an edited player which seemed strange. Valverde was #2 but I can understand it as a recent signee who hasn't been edited yet.

I downloaded and unzipped the file and put it on a USB that is formatted correctly to be recognized by my PS3 but when I go to the USB in the PS3 it says there is no data there. Anyone have a solution?

Try it again maybe with another stick. Plug the stick into the CPU and format to make sure there is nothing on the stick at all. Nothing. Unzip the roster and bring the entire thing over and drop it into the stick. You will be bringing Cardinal's PS3 SAVEDATA and Roster folder over. Plug stick into the 3 and copy to hard drive. The description will be cards which you might want to change to 2013 Opening Day since I believe all of his rosters are marked cards.

This is among the easiest files to transfer since you do not have to overwrite anything. Try it again.

Yea great roster BUT for some reason when i go to play franchise mode which is the reason i got these updated rosters I can't save my franchise or season. It says "unable to locate saved file, which was created by another user no further progress can be saved at this time." What's the point in having an updated roster if i can't use it.

Can Anyone HELP ME? PLEASE!!!

I think you have to load the roster from the New Franchise screen instead of loading it first and starting the franchise with current rosters. Let me load up the game and look because I remember having this problem before.

edit: OK yeah, just make sure you have the default rosters up. Then start a new franchise and choose Saved rosters, that should work

I'm having this same issue. I have followed your steps as well as renamed the roster, but I keep receiving the "unable to locate current save file" screen. I'll try some other things, but if anyone can figure out a way around this, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

Also, excellent job on the rosters, they're excellent and I appreciate the work that went into them.

Thanks for the roster update "4/7/13" but i have 1 question? how did you change the players picture? the official mlb11 roster has albert pujols and matt holliday picture but in your update they look cartoonish. can you do that for every player? it would make the game feel more realistic especially when you creating players

How come Boone Logan (RP from the NYY) pitches sidearm? He doesn't deliver that way IRL, also when I go to edit his pitch style to one that isn't a sidearm pitch style, I make sure to save my changes but when I use him in game he still delivers sidearm, how do I fix this? I also noticed this for a couple of other players that they'll just randomly change pitch styles mid-game, it happened with Andy Pettitte and Ivan Nova. I don't think this is any kind of error with the rosters but I figured maybe somebody on this thread could help me out.

found out a way to do this and make it work.

1. Do not load the roster to the ps3 yet!

2. With whatevers default roster when the game loads up. SAVE IT and name it whatever to your liking.

3. Quit game and then go to the saved data on ps menu and copy the roster.

4. Load up the game and then load the roster you copied from your usb. should be called "cards" or something similar.

5. After loading, save the roster. Save it under the one you named to your liking.

Now that it is done. You can create a franchise. You will be using the saved roster that is named to your liking.

I hope i didnt confuse anyone lol. But thats what I did to make it work.
