No sir...he meant Angel Sanchez. He's a Rule 5 Draft pick from the Angels. Expected to be the backup infielder.

Happens to the best of us, lol. No worries. The Sox have made next to no moves this offseason. A small one like that can easily go unnoticed.

For real, I can't believe Hahn hasn't capitalized on Floyd's value yet and traded him, but I'm sure he wants to see a healthy Johnny Danks in a month before he starts sending off a pitcher. Makes sense, but boring for us fans that love to see moves done! Wish there was room for him to grab Bourn and package Floyd and De Aza somewhere for a 3B (Come on Texas, you don't even LIKE Mike Olt!). Haha.

I've been saying that they should go for Brandon McCarthy or Shaun Marcum type pitchers to be the 4th starter. They can still sign Marcum and deal Floyd. If Lohse wasn't tied to a first round draft pick, he would also be a solid pick up.

Yeah, I agree. He needs to be a Jason Kubel type body, not a Pablo Sandoval.

Sox sign Matt Lindstrom to one year deal and an option (pending physical). Looking like the pen is going to be the biggest strength this year with Jones, Lindstrom, Crain, Thornton, and a hopefully improved Reed at the back end.

Sox claimed Zach Stewart......at least that's one less pitcher you have to create for this year's roster? Tony Pena Jr. was also added on January 7 but he isn't necessary unless you like pitching with guys in franchise who switched from a position to pitcher

Also, I was looking at who you have on the roster so far and you might have to create Angel Sanchez. He didn't appear in the MLB at all last year. And another suggestion would be to add Trevor Reckling instead of maybe one of the pitching prospects that is D or F potential. Left handed starter who is 23. Former top prospect of the Angels organization.

Oh joy... I'm truly surprised by some of these minor league signings. Andy Gonzalez, Randy Ruiz, Nick Giarraputo... I mean really? Those are the best you can do Hahn? Stewart at least is young, but I think any White Sox fan knows he's pretty terrible.

You would be correct. Sanchez, along with Troncoso, Moskos, & Purcey are all going to be removed in this years game. Sanchez will probably be added by SCEA after the first week or so, but I have all their ratings written down from MLB 12. Reckling I'm not so sure about. He was originally in my plans, but he was only in Single-A last year and is pretty lost. Kind of reminds me of Wes Whisler last year. The bottom of the list always seems to change though, so the current list is far from final. Last year I had to change 6-7 players in the final week because of cuts and such.

Haha yeah I got you...I just figured working with Coop should make for a pretty decent spring out of him (hopefullly). Hopefully he sticks on the roster in the minors or something. And I saw that the Mets signed Marcum earlier. I really wanted Hahn to grab him lol I want them to add a cheap option for the fourth spot in the rotation and trade Floyd for some salary relief to set up a move later in the year if need be. Jurrjens really seems like the only guy I would gamble on.
