    Re: 2013 OSFM: Minnesota Twins

I have a question for you guys. Would you rather see non-roster invitees and prospects, or a lot more prospects and minor leaguers? I'm kinda unsure right now because a few NRI take up spots of like 2 or 3 prospects.

I'd vote for prospects over NRI.

The Twins have been having Paul Molitor mentor Sano this spring on refining his 3rd base play. Oswaldo Arcia looks like the Twins' RF of the not too distant future (2014?) so Sano is definitely slated for the hot corner. If the Twins deal Morneau, Parmelee goes back to 1B.

Well I just talked to Knight and he said to put the remaining prospects that don't make the cut on the Orioles and he will make moves if needed. And you're welcome! It's a privilege to do this and it's fun to work on these rosters so I can put out the best product for all Twins fans alike!

Alright, so the Twins decided to send down Butera, so it looks like Wilkin Ramirez has basically gotten that final bench spot, as boggs was also sent to a minor league camp today. I noticed I forgot to add Carroll to the projected lineup so the bench should be as follows: Carroll, Mastroianni, Ramirez, Escobar.

Another tidbit of info, Mike Kvasnicka was traded to the Twins today from the Astros organization. And I just had to put that out there since he went to my high school. I believe he was originally drafted by the Twins as a later round pick out of high school, but ultimately ended up going to the U of MN. Haha small world........

Ik you guys wanted some info about the rosters, and since Hicks was named the starting CF, I'll give you some info. His overall is 80, and that was following the prospect chart that Knight gave us, and his batting stance is Carlos Santana. If you go to the Twins website and look at some of the highlights, I felt that was just the best stance to go with. Not too far open, front foot is angled off the ground. I know it's not much, but you guys need to be surprised! haha

Good stuff! I see Hicks will be wearing #32. I settled on Cozart for his stance, but will take a look at Santana.

Was just going to post the jersey number for Hicks, glad to see his rating and I am very excited for him to play this year! Ramirez officially on the team so another guy to look forward to!

Random question, I know there's been a debate on NRI vs. prospects, but any chance Chris Colabello makes the roster (the OSFM, not real active Twins roster). I grew up watching him play for the Tornadoes and it'd be cool to see your rendition of him in game.

Colabello is definitely in the rosters. Also basically I meant some of the smaller non roster invitees, Colabello I believe is going to be the starting 1b for the Red Wings so no issues there!

Ok guys I'm happy to announce that I've finished the rosters! It's been a fun process and I've enjoyed doing this for the 2nd year in a row. I'm hoping you guys enjoy these rosters and I put in the extra work to make sure we're all happy! Right now I'm finishing some possible replacement prospects(if needed) and I'll be sending the rosters out to Knight tomorrow! Thank you for the feedback and enjoy come opening day, or around that time!

I'm extremely pumped to play with Hicks. I cannot wait until Sano and Buxton develop as well. They should be pretty fun to play with providing these guys pan out. I may even have to play a couple minor league games to test them out.

Anyway thanks for all the hard work MauerMorneau!

haha if you can believe it Buxton is already a 73! And I believe Sano is a 74 or 75, it should be interesting to see how both develop!
