Wow, yeah some of these heights/weights quite off lolz. Mark McGwire is listed at "215" pounds. Bonds is listed at 185? Hahaa. I just googled that stuff and McGwire was 250 and Bonds was over 200.

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
Baseball-almanac is a good source at all, but the height/weights listed are usually at the beginning or end of someone's career. I'll use Adam Dunn for example 6'6 285LBs at present. In the early 2000s Adam Dunn is listed at 6'6 240. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/play...php?p=dunnad01
All I'm saying is for a historical roster does it make sense to list them at current weight/height given that other categories such as speed, accuracy are affected? Another example would be Adrian Beltre he is listed 220 now, was 170 pounds in early 2000s. Both guys have gained about 50lbs between the 2003 season and now... according to 'Baseball Register's 2003 edition'. Scott Rolen is another guy I'd like to bring up. 6'4 226 around the 03 year, 6'4 245-250 with the Reds last season. Russell Branyan 6'3 195, to 6'3 230 lbs right before his 30HR season in Seattle. Sammy Sosa is a pretty good example for this as well.. listed 6'0 185 on baseball-almanac? Hhahaha 2003, 6'0 220 LBS. Not that it really matters a whole lot... But it is interesting to see heights/weights by season no?Comment

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
It doesn't differ at all actually lol. Cant remember who it was but someone uploaded my roster with a few fixes. If you searched the vault you would be able to find it fairly easy.

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
I got the 215 weight for McGwire under nomo's showrater, I'm not saying your stuff is wrong... McGwire's weight of 250 for 2000 season is listed as such in Cardinals media guide of that same year.Comment

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
Hey man, I'm not sure how to erase a double post otherwise I would do so. http://www.comc.com/Cards/Baseball/2...cGwire/2377028
I don't mean like speed/game-wise I just mean real life. Dunn ran more often when he was younger, so his speed should be higher when he weighed 240 than the game currently has him at for being 285lbs. Dunn had 19 stolen bases in 2002, never again...Comment

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
Nice! Yeah they both are good but I love Johnson. Started a playoff mode with these and Johnson has 2 games started 17 innings 28k's 0 runs and I believe 6 or 7 hits. He is a beast.Comment

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
Thanks! Not sure if it was mine because im looking at Kent and he has his moustache on my roster. If you downloaded it from sterling2010 then its the right one otherwise it's someone else's and they might have made changes to it. I will agree though some of my numbers are off. Should have double checked them on baseball reference but spaced it off.Last edited by jseward92; 04-17-2013, 09:44 PM.Comment

Re: 1999 Classic Roster
I was looking through the vault and there were two people that I saw that uploaded my roster. One guy didn't spell 1999 out fully he put 199. The other guy Jros22 made updates to the roster and I have talked to him so you might want to check his out for updated numbers and such.Comment
