Re: 1984.....Again
Finished Astros, Braves, Expos in NL so far. Moving on to the Mets. Slow moving because of work but coming along ok. Couple more weeks I'm thinking. I cant wait to be done either and actually PLAY some games instead of editing!! Hope it is worth the wait!!! Remember, the AL is posted in the vault already. Keep the feedback coming!!Comment

Re: 1984.....Again
AWESOME. Can't wait to play these eventually. Probably will be after the Thanksgiving after I finish up my first year of my Yankees Chise and a 1988 season replay. Lot's of baseball to play!!!
Of course with post season mode......you can jump right in and have some fun and instant gratification!
Your 84 for 12 was stellar. I am sure these will be even better. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 1984.....Again
I love your 84' set so far. Can I ask a question? I'm new to the Show this year and I was wondering how someone could use a classic set in franchise mode? (The 88' set has fairly correct potentials but almost everything else, everyone's potentials are "A" and I don't think there's any way to change that, is there?)
I was hoping someone with your experience and obvious talent might be able to help?
I don't have much interest in the current MLB but simply love the 80's stuff.
Thanks, either way.

Unless full minors are created, this roster as well as PJ's are meant to be played in season mode.
My suggestion is use season mode with 32 team control and CPU roster control.
No injuries, no trades, no free agent signings.
Just a pure season replay.
It is a blast.
Now when JMeyers releases his 1987 set it will be full 40 man rosters with real minor leagues/vitals edits etc, and can be played in franchise mode. His set for 11 was amazing. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 1984.....Again
There are plenty of A's, B's, C's, and D's in my '88 set. I set it that way so I can add players with different potentials for the following season. Like the other guy said, it's meant to be used as a season set. If you try it on Franchise, everything will get messed up.
I think that another guy on here was making an '87 set with full minors, that might be more what you're looking for.
