Missing are Barbaro Garbey (110 games played), Rusty Kuntz (84 games played) who BOTH played in the World Series. I believe Kuntz even drove in the run that put the Tigers ahead to stay in Game 5.

Also missing, are Doug Baker, Rod Allen, and Mike Laga.

Also, there is no way that Dave Rozema and Juan Berenguer should be rated higher than Milt Wilcox. Wilcox won 17 games that season, and didn't miss a start.

Finally, Alan Trammell's RT Power is WAY too low (22) Tram hit 16 home runs that season. I think his LT Power is too high (74) though.

And, how can you have Willie Hernandez, without his trademark Screwball?

    Other than that, great job.
There are lots of players missing on lots of teams. I picked them based on baseball-reference.com and only picked 13 players and 12 pitchers. I remember all the players you mentioned without looking at any roster. I was at the 68, 84, and 2006 series. I didn't edit any of the pitchers pitch selection either. I just changed there ratings based on Kritter's Calculator. Power ratings are probably too low for everyone. You may change anything you like. All I ask is not to re-post and claim this is YOUR roster as so many have done. Other than that, edit away. To change everything to perfection is near impossible. I did the best I could.

Just curious, what criteria did you use for picking players to include? I mean you picked a couple players who had very few games, and left off some players that played quite a lot. I mean, Garbey played in 110 games, yet was left off. Kuntz played in 84 games. Both were with the team for the entire year, but got left off. Players such as Nelson Simmons barely had a cup of coffee with them, yet are included. Just curious is all.

I think part of the problem (persay) is that teams back then regularily carried just 10 or 11 pitchers, instead of 12. I know the Tigers had 10 pitchers for much of the season

I know you're saying that you're just curious but from John's previous post, I think he's getting frustrated. It's up to you but I'd just say "thanks for all your hard work doing this free vintage roster for all of us to use" and leave it at that.

I'm sure he probably doesn't care if you edit it, make more created players, etc.

Just a teeny bump, to see once again if anyone would do me the favor of putting the online link for the rosters here. i don't have internet at home on my ps3 and the file that was uploaded on this post ended up being the 1999 roster.

Not trying to jump on anyone here. The best way to make good edits to your liking is to start a season/franchise and play a few games to get stats. Then write them down and transfer over to the master roster for reediting. You don't waste time playing exhibition games (though they are fun) and you have something to compare it to based on your skill level.
