Yes, you will get more swings and misses since the velocity for a splitter at 88 will be about...80-84 points. If you pick change the velocity will be at 0. Certainly it will be possible to succeed with well located pitches but I did extensive testing on this and can confirm that King Felix is better off with the split for gameplay.

That's pretty cool. Good to know.

Use a pitcher's BB/9 Rating to determine the control for individual pitcher's pitches.

I have a formula for pitcher's with 5/4/and 3 individual pitches. It works great when you use 3-year splits from espn.com to get the pitcher's BB/9.

PM me if you want my formula. I also have a roster in the vault where I have edited all hitter's and pitcher's ratings and have added sean jeezy's pitch edits to 18 MLB teams (All of the AL and the NL with the Braves, Nats, and Mets done).

I just want to THANK all of those who do Pitch Edits, especially you, Mr. Jeezy. It makes this game EXCEPTIONAL, especially for a guy like me who never Hits and only Pitches.

Do you have a spreadsheet of Jeezy's edits? Please shoot me a PM if you do, it's impossible to find a hard copy.

Why not? That's the only way I can transfer ANY edits over to a custom roster? Having a roster set in my game with edits is cool and all, but I can't really see all that information at once, and it's literally impossible to transfer any pitching edits(any edit other than sound) over to say Willard's hybrid roster. The only ways I can do that is if Willard goes back himself and adds edits, or I take/create a spreadsheet to process the information. I was going to do the work for reds edits, but it sounded like vcu9 was using jeezys edits, sorry for asking for a copy

I assume he'll be releasing a spreadsheet once the rosters are complete?

If you really want to do the work just use brooksbaseball.net. Educate yourself, pitchfx data is very easy to read once you get in tune with the numbers.

Sean, do you have a spreadsheet of these? I'd like to apply them to the Hybrid roster.

Hey seanjeezy, just loaded Gerrit Cole, David Dahl, and Matt Davidson to the vault. Hopefully I'll be able to get a lot more done tomorrow.

Hey guys, I think its been a week since I last posted so its good to see this thread is still active somewhat. I'm about halfway through the accessory/equipment edits and by the end of the week there should be enough f/x data available that I can start applying any changes to my spreadsheet. As always, spreadsheet link is in the OP, blue text is indicative of a hyperlink being used...

Sean, I got Alen Hanson changed from a A+ to a B+, and I also redid a few Rangers specs as Bs. The A's were never changed and are left with only one B spec, so I'm gunna bump up a few of their guys that we discussed to B's. Any other potential changes you can think of ? Figured it'd save you some time to just focus on the pitch edits.
