I simmed through a season and found everything to be pretty good. I didn't have much of a spread as far as team's winning percentages go, but that's a minor complaint in my opinion. I kind of like having every team be within a competitive range. Individual stats did look pretty nice.
I do agree about the amount of players over 30 who are mid-80's + perhaps being a touch high, but that's also fun for me since it'll make building up my farm system that much more important. However, it is something that could be addressed by lowering some of the older supperstar's stats and raising those of some of the younger guys...or simply reducing a couple of ages could work as well I suppose. Not a big issue, but it is there.
I also started my first game in a new franchise to actually play and have to say that I am loving Lonnie Bryan and David Logan of the Cubs. Well done.
...also (and I know that there is nothing to be done about it as things currently sit) I was distracted by every hit, strikeout, homerun etc. getting the "that's his first (blank)" commentary. It would be nice if in the future SCEA gave us the option to edit in service times to help reduce some of that in future itterations. I know that that's not something that you can fix, but it is my biggest point of irritation so far (which is a good thing because it's something that will disappear after a handful of games and the rest has been pretty impressive to my eye).
