I'm just curious...maybe it has already been answered. I am looking for a roster download that has all "real" MLBPA players removed with generic players with fictional names (not just Joe Random). I'd like to start a franchise with no good players at all, cause I'd like to treat it like summer collegiate baseball or independent pro baseball. Has there been a roster like this uploaded to the roster vault on PS3 yet? If so, PM me or reply. Thank you for your help and response.

Last year's FANTASY ROSTER was exactly what you want, in my opinion. I never used it because I started 3 different times, and found the players to be just too "bad" to feel like it was a major league.

I really liked last year and 12's version too. I think this year will be fine, especially since, like the creator said, there really aren't many high rated 90 OVR in the actual Default rosters this year.
I really don't mind a decent mix of old and older players. You have to remember that every player in the first season of a fictional roster franchise starts off as a Rookie. So you'll be able to keep a lot of these guys for pretty cheap for their first 5-7 years, which kinda kills the immersion factor for me if all good players are between 22-25. I like when my team has a few good players that are etfing older and I have to make a tough decision on whether to keep them or move on.

The great thing about these fantasy rosters are that you can swap players around to the team you will be using before you start your franchise, or my personal favorite, Fantasy Draft!

I agree to everything you said, except with the current state or "regression", older players kind of ruin it. If this was before the regression era in "The Show", I'd be all for it.

I think the system has potential, but as of now it appears broken/lobsided/unrealistic/too much. Josh Beckett, at 34, went almost -10 on all stats. It is too much at 34.

I do agree with you it would be better having a mix of ages, but for me, I am going to make all players 25 or younger so I can have this league start from the beginning, and with year to year saves I can play 10+ seasons before regression kicks in (and hopefully it will be fixed by that point).

Just for that reason I would like to create a roster with all players under age 30, but for the sake of realism for this roster, I cannot. I'm doing my best here to include much more young talent than last year, particularly pitching, although veterans will be present as well, just as they are in the MLB. Hopefully these efforts will be rewarded by a roster set that runs smoothly in franchise mode!

That's the great thing about a fictional roster, you can adjust anything you want before you start a franchise and not feel weird that you made a guy like David Ortiz 23 years old or anything like that lol.

I know I will most likely be making a few adjustments here and there before I start a franchise, especially with this year to year save. Since I will be investing a long time into it, I want to make sure I get it as "right" as I want to before I start. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If I can help out with faces I'd be more than happy to. Last year I tweaked the set for personal use by fixing a lot of the faces I thought needed some work.

Not saying I'm Rembrandt or anything, but I always download this roster set and would love to chip in this year if needed.

Yep, the roster vault will be accessible across all platforms. Come May 6, I will be getting the PS4 version and will continue to work from there.

I was worried that the rosters would only be available to its origins, like if you made a roster on the PS3, it'd only be on the PS3.
