Cool. Depending on what happens over the next week, might need someone to replace Q.

The kid is only 18 and in rookie ball. He needs some more time in the minors. If he was a b or better he will be in AAA when he is 19-20.NHL Face ID Guy: If you want to use my edits. That's cool, just credit me.

Re: 2014 Mets OSFM Thread
-He Didn't make the cut. put in Dana Eveland over him.
-I will try this week to add at least Kolarek, TT, LJ and maybe Buddy Carlyle to the vault for those who have different preferences.
Q's?:
-who is Marcos Molina? Can we get rid of him for L.J.?
-Is anyone else a little disappointed that Ahmed Rosario potential is only a C I was hopping he would be atleast a mid B or something?
Answers:
-You guys can make whatever changes you want to your own rosters and Franchises. That's the beauty of this. If you want to bump up someone's potential in your own roster go ahead. If you want to import a different player for your roster go ahead.
- I will try and make a few more options for everyone this week.
-As far as Rosario and other Potentials or Ratings, I did my best, but Knight certainly was going to adjust them based on his knowledge of the rest of the team's rosters and on how progression works. The goal is to have each team progress as realistically as possible, so the final choices made by Knight are so that the roster performs correctly more than what you or I or even he may feel a prospects true potential might be. I actually created him with an A- potential but have zero issue with any changes that were made to anyone's ratings or potentials as this was my 1st time doing ratings. I only did some of the faces last year.
-Finally, Marcos Molina will be in all of the Mets top 10 prospect lists by this time next year. He actually made it into one list this year I believe. Actually, I just looked it up and it was Baseball Prospectus which is pretty big-time. Go read about him there! He is exciting! Replace him if you choose to. I am keeping him in my personal one!- Mets

Okay cool, I just really have not heard of him before. I never really had him in my roster sets. But if he seems to have an upside, I'll keep him.NHL Face ID Guy: If you want to use my edits. That's cool, just credit me.

Re: 2014 Mets OSFM Thread
After finally downloading and going over the Mets Roster, Here are my comments and simple corrections that I would probably make for those of you using The Mets for your Franchises.
Numbers Needing to be fixed:
MLB
valverde 47
AAA
puello 21
kirk 9
dykstra 10
allen 40
soup 29
lutz 19
carreno 34
eveland 37
socolovitch 54
AA
robles 45
adrod 34
A
nimmo 26
smith 22
Position Fixes:
AAA
Seratelli lf/if
Flores 3b or ss/if
Potentials: There are a lot adjusted from my original roster which I expected and am totally cool with. Originally I had this breakdown- A=Noah, Montero, Smith, Nimmo, Rosario and B=deGrom, Puello, Plaweki, Matz, Fulmer, Cecchini, Hererra, Molina, and maybe Ynoa and Mateo.
I was certainly a little over generous with some.
I think most of the potentials should be kept the way Knight adjusted them too. Here is what I will probably change for my own personal franchise.
A
Fulmer(78-80)
Matz(85)
Molina(75)
Hererra(77)
Becerra(72)Last edited by jetropolitans; 05-14-2014, 10:34 AM.- Mets
