Yeah, you can copy them over or I will. Am I correct to assume you did Correa also? I redid many many faces for the hybrid roster last year that can probably be transferred over. The Astros were one team I did a lot of work on last summer and even this winter. Many of those players should have SCEA faces this year because they debuted.

Yea, I still have my PS3, I just don't plan on buying 2 versions of the show, especially since I still need to buy a PS4. But we'll figure something out. I'll get what I can done. Once the PS4 version drops, I can always take the time and re-do a few guys if need be.Comment

Agreed, my general rule of thumb is 100% accurate AAA and at least 80% (20/25) AA. If you have a bunch of low rated teens in AA it affects their growth since they will be overmatched and possibly drop in potential due to bad stats.
Also, I did some work on the Astros last year - I can't remember which faces I did but I can copy them over if you don't mind... I know it was at least Rio Ruiz, DDSJ, and I think George Springer.Comment

Re: MLB The Show'14(PS3 and PS4)-Operation Sports Full Minors-RECRUITING
That is, they're a 5+ ERA pitcher of a .220 hitter in MLB. Most of AAA players are actually AAAA and not really 'prospects', even as MLB players.
"To me, I think Double-A is more important than Triple-A," Ortiz said. "I don't know if it's still the same, but when I played in Double-A, most of the good talent went to Double-A and skipped Triple-A. Triple-A is more like a veteran league with guys that you want to have there."
Depth players, they call them. Others use the term "4-A" for these organizational 'tweeners.- David Ortiz
I'd rather have a bunch of high potential 55-60 rated 18-19 year olds. MOST of those players are International signings and honestly, where MOST of the TOP players in MLB come from. Not the draft.
e.g.
Miguel Cabrera
Adrian Beltre
David Ortiz
Jean Segura
Starling Marte
Elvis Andrus
Carlos Gomez
Albert Pujols
Vlad Guerrero

International Signings in 2011:

International Signings in 2012:
The top of this list is as strong as it has been in years. It was a very good year for international talent.
International Signings in 2013:
Well, name any guy from the Dominican, Venezuela, or Puerto Rico and unless they're a 'top 100' prospect, you won't notice them, but they were most likely in a MLB system as early as age 16.
Jose Fernandez, Class A to the majors. He would have not have been in the 2012 minors as he was Gulf Coast/NY-PA Lg in 2011...and only a 'teen'...but only 1 more year in the minors, he's a MLB star.
So I think it's important if those guys are getting $1.5M signing bonuses or bigger to be included in the game. As they are WAY more likely in the next 1-3 years to do something for that club and more valuable in REAL LIFE to that club.
Anyone who's 24 or older should NOT be made in the game if they're in AAA. They are not going to be a contributor to the MLB club by any means. Add them to the FA pool. Because that's where they're honestly interchangeable from MLB organization to MLB organization to the IL's around the US.Last edited by twinsfan34; 03-08-2014, 10:26 PM.NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves

Re: MLB The Show'14(PS3 and PS4)-Operation Sports Full Minors-RECRUITING
My personal rule when I have done teams in the past and will do again this year is I do probably 95% of the real AAA team, I skip last leg players who will not see MLB time. AA is roughly 80% accurate or 20 players on that roster and then fill out the remaining 20 players are various level prospects. I tend to stay away from young international signings unless they are in the 5 year window. I also usually create an extra 10 or so players as fill ins for trades etc

Knight,
I just wanted to confirm that I'd like to help with the Pirates general info and face edits again this year for the PS3 version. I might get the PS4 version later in the year so I'll just be focusing on the PS3 version in April.
I'll be working with tree3five and kharmo.
Thanks,

A bit off topic: This is more of a question for Knight (may or may not know the answer) that pertains to the player editor. Any idea if they added the Jason Heyward cheek flap to helmets as an option this year?Comment
