Buxton has 99 potential and Sano is only 20 years old.

Still buxton should be the highest rated prospect because he is IRL and sano is way better than a 67ovr.

Manage my roster. I was going to test it in-game, but others have already done that. If this is a roster-wide problem, then this is reeeeally bad...

Thats my point. Buxton is head and shoulders above the other prospects.. and Sano is a top 5 (top 10 at worst prospect). Both very young yes. but Sano reached AA last year.. he's only a year or two away from the bigs

I created Appel and Singleton so I'll speak for them. I just don't think they'll ever be elite players in the league. If you disagree, change it, no harm done.

I just think of potential as what they could be, not what they will be. But, I do think that the potential system is a little off. There are no busts or out of nowhere superstars. A B potential can move to an A or C but you never see a D potential become an A or an A a D.

Mine does in manage roster but not in game so far. Its not always for me either. If I exit that player go into someone else and then back to the same its fine.

I think you need to look at the actual ratings. After 1 year in the minors with this roster set Buxton will have 70 contact ratings, 80+ defense ratings, and probably close to 99 speed. That seems like a pretty great 21 year old player and easily the best young player in the roster.

What I've found out in my sims is that maximum power only comes into play if the player has reasonable plate skills (contact, vision, discipline), so a player with 80 power isn't likely to hit 40 HR's if any of the three above (mostly contact though) are low. My example would be Jabari Blash, he would hit 20-25 HR's in my sims despite having the power to hit 30-35. So the power rating is more representative of raw power, with useable power being contact and power combined.

Amazing work on these rosters!

Will there be a 25 man roster releasing with these? This avoids having lineups and rosters jumbled around after Spring Training in the Franchise mode. Thanks!

Well I did a test sim and midway through 2015 buxton does have 80 fielding and 99speed but only contacts 60 and 66.
Sano is at 61 power and 70 power.

Just think that's too low for the top prospect and the best power hitter prospects

Well that is phenomenal news. Lol I was afraid the whole roster would be tainted. But what about that face error leaking into our game like it did to franch1se? Is that fixable?
