Slightly off topic...
I have decided to post my sliders that I use with the Hybrid rosters for my long-term franchise in a new thread. ETA is at some point in the upcoming week. No, I don't know exactly what day yet so please no PMs etc.. about that. I will post it in the current gen forum so now you know where to look.
The reason I am changing my mind about sharing sliders...well actually there are several reasons.
1. I have had time to do a lot more testing since 2 or 3 weeks ago. I am getting good results for really hard to perfect aspects of the game such as strike frequencies, 1st strike %, batted ball data etc. I am more comfortable putting the sliders out there for human consumption at this point.
2. People seem really confused about if they need to use a certain slider set for a certain roster set...and these sliders have been unequivocally developed using Hybrid rosters so there will be no confusion. No square peg into round hole scenario.
3. Let's face it, there are 3-4 popular sliders sets for MLB 14 and that's about it for this year. With several different roster sets, about 3 or 4 different ways to hit, and 3 or 4 different ways to pitch, that's just not enough variety out there for everyone. And 75+% of people are unwilling or unable to develop their own, so there's definitely a need.
Just a heads up on what to look out for, I play HoF on pitching (meter) and All Star on hitting (zone), so if you also play with general settings similar to this, the upcoming set should be more applicable you. If you do pulse/analog/classic/zone+analog/timing, I will just stop you right there and say, no, I don't know if my sliders will be any use to you--you have to test it out and see.
Sorry for the off topic...
