I only have MLB14TS to work on. You could try to apply my roster update in MLB15TS. I suspect that roster files formats for both games are quite similar if not the same.

By the way, I plan to work on a post-trade deadline roster soon.

In case anyone else wanted to know, I tried loading the 2021 roster to MLB the Show 15 with the steps provided and got a corrupt file message. I thought I'd give it a try

It is coming soon, maybe next weekend. The coming update includes lot of new and real minor league players. Chris Sale is back too.

September 2021 Roster update.

Notes:

• There are incorrect values in the spreadsheet above -and roster file- for some fields. Those fields are mainly player skin color -player likeness-, salaries and contract length. If you want to help, please reply here in this thread to be able to update the values in those fields for each player.

• Chris Sale is back -maybe a few other players too- and you will find a lot more new players from minors. Thanks to baseball-reference.com and fangraphs.com for sharing all that information.
• Thanks to MBMavs20 for his 2020-2021 pitching edits.
• All-star rosters are updated for the current season. Keep in mind that this game only allows 25 players per team including all-star rosters.
• Ohtani is a pitcher but also plays as DH.

If you have no idea of how to load this roster update in your device, please read this post. If having problems, it is also a good idea to read all messages from posts 3 and 25 here in this thread. Check this one too.

Update 1 -Oct 6-:

• Now this roster update has as a base the stock roster. This should get rid of the "File is corrupt issue". Just save in game the stock roster in slot 2, back it up in Vita Save Manager, replace your decrypted game saves for this game inside folder ROSTER_031 with my files. Restore it in Vita Save Manager.
• Audio player names are either correct or no audio name. Adding more variety to player appearance, pitching and batting stances.

I can assume the roster works ok and the "File is corrupt" message in the previous posts is unfortunately somehow specific to @0leius.

Do not worry, short after the trade deadline, I plan to release a new roster update. I will bring back Chris Sale from the shadows.

unfortunately, i'm going through the same thing, i've managed to update my Madden roster no problem, I can't get this to work.

2021 LiveArea patch

Actually, I had forgotten about this request made back in June. With some delay but here is your LiveArea patch for the 2021 season.

Look at the included readme to know how to apply it. It requires a hacked device, in this particular case, rePatch plugin is not needed as we are not editing game files.

If you have your game bubble inside a folder bubble, just move it -the game bubble- outside of the folder bubble before rebooting your system. Afterwards, you can move it back.

unfortunately, i'm going through the same thing, i've managed to update my Madden roster no problem, I can't get this to work.

Follow the posts I mention in my September 2021 roster release post. Remember that you need to have a roster file saved in game in the second slot from top to bottom. If you do not have it, just save a new one. This is the first step and is very important.

Then, backup your game saves for this game via Vita Save Manager, replace the 2 files inside ROSTER_031 -you should know where it is precisely- with my files and finally restore your game saves in Vita Save Manager. That is it!

Note that replacing files in a folder different from ROSTER_031 is NOT GOING TO WORK.

Thanks! I was up til 3am trying this yesterday, I’ll go at it again, maybe I was skipping a step because of the time of day.

The steps I’ve done are:
1. Open the game save roster in the second slot.
2. Exit game and open save manager, backup to slot 2 (which is the third slot) NOTE: save manager tells me the save file directory is ux0:usr/00/savedata/pcsa00115 (I note this because I’m trying to be as comprehensive as I can)
3. I exit save manager and go into vita shell where I transfer over your files to the roster 031 folder (I’ve tried in the data/savegames/psca00115/slot2/roster 031 as well as the save directory save manager tells me)
4. Once files have been transferred over I go back into save manager and restore the slot 2.
5. I open up the game and load the roster and corrupt.

Am I missing a step? Thanks for all your work on this and the madden files as well, you’re a boss!

EDIT: I'm on game version v1.00 *I don't know if that makes a difference

I think this could be your problem,

Do not forget that game saves in ux0:usr/00/savedata/pcsa00115 are encrypted. Do not touch anything there.

Could you please type the full path in your PS Vita where Vita Save Manager dumps decrypted game saves? Just check in ux0:data/savemgr/config.ini. Your dumped decrypted game saves are in that path, it is there where you replace your files with mine before restoring it.

Besides that, you could easily upgrade to v1.02 anyway.

I have a vpk file, I tried upgrading to v1.02 through the live app. It downloaded but can’t install.

On the Vita Save Manager program it says:
Sav dir: ux0:user/00/save data/PCSA00115

So I have to ignore what the save manager says is the save directory? I’ve done that, formatted to ignore if I did make any changes. uninstalled the vpk, and reinstalled. Still same issue.

Why you cannot install upgrade to v1.02 through the live app?
If your game is a MaiDump dump, maybe that could be the problem.

The slot number in Vita Save Manager is a free choice.
