Hi again thank for the link got me vita jailbroken I have mlb 14 on a game cart but I think it might be easier to re-download from pkg and Uninstall original. I have a new ps vita SD card so no original save data I'm worried about

So I've got as far as copying over another roster save then says file is corrupt. I'm going to try to resign it in my horizon tool which I use for my Xbox 360 roster updates. I know it's something simple im missing

Not sure if you ever got this figured out..

But I will say from my experience with Madden saves; PS3 was FAR more stable than working with 360 saves. Lost count of how many crashes I had to deal with. (personally I think it is a Horizon issue, I had no usability issues with M10 and M11)

All the PS3 saves worked flawlessly with RPCS3 as well.

It is almost as if we were working with a roster editor. From my point of view, I have a roster editor, even if it is a bit pedestrian.

Would you mind sharing which hex editor you are using to edit the rosters?

Assuming you can export to a spreadsheet? Then import the data back?

I am working with HxD hex editor. Any hex editor is useful.

What really matters is to understand the structure of the roster file to be able to edit it. I know the roster structure for MLB14TS PS Vita and I am able to export to a spreadsheet and to import the data back.

The main difference between a MLB14TS for PS Vita and PS3 is the endianess, little endian for PS Vita and big endian for PS3. However, my PS Vita loaded successfully a roster from the vault that is in big endian.

If you are able to supply a roster from the vault for PS3, maybe I can export my rosters to PS3 with not much extra effort, assuming it is in little endian. Otherwise, we first need to understand the structure of a PS3 roster -it takes time- to be able to port my rosters.

Have a look at this post too. I got feedback just from one person. He gets the "File is corrupt" message.

September 2023 Roster update.

Notes:

• Rosters are accurate as of September 5 2023.
• Some fields are random, mainly player skin color, player likeness, salaries and contract length. For the 25 players in each of the MLB rosters, skin color is more or less accurate. If you want to help, please reply here in this thread to be able to update the values in those fields for each player.
• For most players, the overall rating should be closer to the way the game actually computes it. I changed the way to calculate it, always based on the player ratings.
• The rest of the features are as in the previous April 2023 roster update.
• This roster update takes the stock roster as a base. Just save in game the stock roster in any slot, back it up in Vita Save Manager (or any other similar tool), replace your decrypted game saves for this game with my files. Restore it in Vita Save Manager.
• Please post in this thread any issues you find.

I noticed that when Ohtani is pitching (also DH) in a game and it comes his turn to bat, the other pitcher is not pitching any balls to him. This happens when you play with DH. Just fast forward to continue the game. I guess this is just the way the game handles it and there is not much to be done. The game just expects a player that is not playing in any defensive position as DH.

Who is willing to help with the textures to update the uniforms that need it?
The goal is to have it ready for the spring of 2024.

We are talking about dds images for the uniform textures. It should be relatively easy to edit.

At least, we need to work on home and away uniforms for the Marlins, Brewers, Diamondbacks, Padres, Guardians and Twins.

This game works with gxt textures, thus, after editing I will convert it back from dds to gxt.
