    SAVING SETTINGS

How exactly do you go about saving your gameplay tuning settings? Is it saved under your profile or what?? Are they auto-saved? Auto-loaded??

You can't save them. Saving your profile will save gameplay settings, such as playing allstar level or what fielding view you use or whatever... but audio options and gameplay tuning options can't be saved. It is quite possibly the most ridiculous exclusion from a video game ever.

I posted this in the PSP thread but I think you can save the audio options. At least it's working for me. Unfortunately it doesn't work when you turn the game on. But if you are in a franchise or career you can pause the game and go into the menu and adjust audio and tuning options to your heart's content and after you resave the game it keeps those settings for you. At least that's what I figured out and since I don't play anything but career and franchise I'm not too worried about the rest of the game. Now I do know that when you quit out of the franchise it keeps those settings in the main menu too. So it seems as if everything is saved in whatever mode you play in. Make sense?

yes, it makes sense...but it is still ridiculous that you can't save your options from the games main menu. I feel myself coming closer and closer to just playing MVP NCAA the rest of the year with each passing moment I play this game.

You CAN save all the options, just set it up as you would like and then create a profile, save that. It should save all your option settings but NOT "game tunning", for that you need to load up your profile and go set up the game tunning to whatever you want and start a season or franchise, there set whatever those settings are also after that save. Now to play in exhibition with the game tuning and game options just load you franchise and then back out to the main menu, it will all be there.

Yes, I understand all of that... it's just silly that we can't friggin save our game tuning settings without saving a franchise.
