    BZito's All-Star Sliders

Ok fellas Ive done some tweaking to this game and im getting some pretty realistic results in my Yankees franchise. im 9 games in and im 4-5, scores and hits will follow my sliders (keep in mind that im an mvp convert and im LOVING this game)

    All-Star
    Hot/Cold Zones: OFF
    Pitch Curser: FADE
Strike Zone: ON ( only temporary )
    Manual baserunning, stealing, fielding
    Auto slide

All Sliders are from the default position so ill say + or - such and such and i may be all over the place on the slider order becuase im not in front of the game right now (damn gfs house). PS all sliders are the same for both human and comp, and if i left a slider out then its considered to be default.

    Pitch Count: MAXXED OUT
Contact: 0 for both so bar is totally empty
    Power: +3
    Arm Strength: -4
    Arm Accuracy: -5
    Errors: +2

Everything Else (unless im totally forgetting something) is default such as pitch speed and whatnot.

    Stats:

    NYY 1 9 0
    OAK 5 14 0

    NYY 2 6 0
    OAK 7 10 1

    NYY 6 11 0
    OAK 8 13 0
----After the OAK series i upped the error slider----

    NYY 9 16 1
    LAA 2 5 2

    NYY 2 6 3
    LAA 5 8 1

    NYY 0 3 0
    LAA 4 9 0

    NYY 3 9 1
    KC 2 5 1

    NYY 7 13 0
    KC 1 9 1

    NYY 5 11 1
    KC 4 9 0

So im defenetly seein some good results.... varied scores, varied hits, varied throw speeds (damon doesnt have a cannon anymore) and im enjoying it. I MUST give credit to JOEdellis for pointing me in the right direction of the 0 contact slider and i took it from there. try em n lemme know what u think as well if u have any questions just post em up... peace out

Great looking sliders, I'm going to try them on HOF level and I'll post stats when I'm done. I think the CPU aggresive running slider should be maxed out as well. Get more steal attempts from the CPU.

      Re: BZito's All-Star Sliders

I just got the game, Im an MVP convert, and I like it so far. I used your sliders, and I got a good game. Im using the Royals for the hell of it.

      Det 6 13 0
      KC 0 7 0

Kenny Rogers struck out 14 batters and walked 3. I seriously have no patience at the plate, I need to learn the way this game pitches.

The Tigers would've only had 3 runs, but on a routine single to center, I ran my CF past the ball and it ended up being a 2 run inside the park HR. Also, I threw 3 wild pitches leading to another run, the slider in this game breaks very hard, and you really need to adjust for it.

I love the presentation, and will post my next game when I play it.

      Second Game:

      Det 1 4 0
      KC 2 5 0

Again, I struck out 14 times, although Im trying to be more patient. Scott Ealrton no hit the Tigers for 6 2/3, and it was another fun game.

im happy ure likin them and yes highheat i maxxed out comp running aggression as well that was the slider i forgot to post. i think my only major quarrel with the game is the amount of hit batsmen in the game... i dunno seems a tad high but thats a minor inconvenience

Hey, if you go to HOF, try these and let me know what you think. It's really challenging and makes you concentrate on almost every pitch, both fielding and hitting.

          Both HMN/CPU

          Pitch Count: Maxed
          Pitch Speed: +2
          Arm Strength: -2
          Arm Accuracy: -2
          Errors: +3
          CPU Agg: Maxed

          Everything else is default.

No offense but why is it that we always get sliders from guys playin with he Yankees, RedSox or some other power hitting team. Try playing 6 o 7 games with the Marlins, Pirates or Royals and tell me they work pretty good. Will these make playing with a weaker team more frustrating? I don't expect to win with the Marlins (Although on MVP one could make the playoffs with any team) but will zero truly make hitting harder as it already is? or just different.

well i said the yankees cause thats the team im using in my franchise, but they r interchangable for weaker teams like the marlins reds and brewers, also when contact is at 0 it just means the sweetspot on the bat to make contact is smaller... guys will still hit the ball.

Im using the Royals in my franchise, and Im getting very realistic results. The first couple of games I was absolutely lost at the plate, and Id strike out 14 times a game. Im still very impatient swinging, and if I could just lay off the garbage pitches I could really get my offense working. It'll take time and come together, I was the same way when MVP first came out and I tuned down all of the offensive sliders. These sliders will definitely work to make a great season for my team, and I look forward to continuing with them. In all reality, its the best you can do with the limited sliders we have. A lot of us are spoiled by having 40 different tweaks the way we did with MVP.

I find it interesting that you are posting hitting sliders and calling the Reds and Brewers, weaker teams. If we are talking pitching, yeah, I agree.

lol yea i said the reds caused i used them vs the marlins in a game to test my sliders out.. no offence to the reds fans out there.... there arent many pitching sliders in the game except speed and pitch count, and if i can get my ps2 to work tonight (been crappy lately) ill try n tweak some sliders a lil more
