Wouldn't a lower pitch count slider make the CPU throw more strikes and a higher pitch count slider make them throw more balls? Im really confused with this slider, I don't know why SCEA couldn't have made the pitching sliders more along the lines of MVP Baseball so we would atleast be familar with them.

i cant remember exactly what my sliders are set on i know my contact for both user and cpu are at 0 my power for both are on about 5 throwing accuracy and strength are at 0 errors are maxed out pitch count is at half and i get some good line scores and pitchers stay in quite long i played one game cubs vs cards i was the cubs pitched with zambrano cards used jason marquis i ptched 8 1/3 threw 103 pitches stuck out 8 walked 5 marquis pitched 7 2/3 threw 89 pitches struck out 6 walked 6 line score was like this

      cubs 4r 7h 1e

      cards 2r 9h 2e was a real fun game

i thought it was the other way around...pitch count all the way to the right should be more balls no? well i will test it here and see.

I play with the Pitch Count slider maxed and the CPU throws plenty of balls (probably a bit too much). Also, I would like to know if the Pitch Count slider also affects CPU batting, like if they work the count more when the slider is increased because the CPU doesn't work the count as much as I would like (My pitchers should be throwing 3-5 more pitches an inning).

JOE I don't know where you got that from? I played a game with the slider all the way down on pitch count and the pitcher was constantly throwing strikes. Then I maxed out the pitch count slider and the pitcher was throwing more out of the zone. I tested this by not swinging at one pitch for at least 3 innings a piece. This was tested on All-Star level.

Well you said it, you played it on ALLSTAR, i play on HOF. I played vs Indians and Seb throw like 75 strikes and 1 ball, either way i believe this slider needs to be set in a way where it is a good balance of strikes and balls, it makes thinks more challenging.
