    Imapotato's HOF sliders

    Since some one asked

    I thought I'd tell

My sliders are after a bigger sample size (40+ exhibition games, 30 Franchise games and 20 career mode games)

    GAMEPLAY

    UMpire Consistency-Wide
    Fielder Assist-Manual
    Auto baserunning-OFF
    Auto Sliding-Off
    Catch Region-Off

    GAME TUNING

    Pitch Count-Maxed
    CPU Pitch Speed-Default
    Player Pitch Speed-12
    Contact(Both)-4
Power(both)-13 (you will see some foul ball HRs...that make you sweat)
Arm Strength (Both)-15 (the SS stabbing the ball behind 2nd or in the hole behind 3rd has a chance now, if he is Furcal, Greene or Jeter)
Arm Accuracy (Both)-4 (more animations and odd bounces)
Errors (both) -18 (player ratings are too much for fielding ability...this negates that, you won't boot balls every Series, but you could have a 3 error game)
Baserunning Aggresion- 7 (will steal but not to the point of absurdity)
Injury Frequency- MAXED (for Franchise modes)

    ????

The AI wont steal on that, this game needs this to be atleast 15, so they can be agressive and yet think not go on every play

Arms at 15 also is rather odd, it already looks superfast on default why make it even worse?, imo at 8 is perfect and more realistic.

        Au contraire mon frere

I've had teh following players steal on me

        Lofton
        Furcal
        Pujos
Jack Wilson (little bugger also tried to take 3rd and got caught)

I also caught 2 others stealing

They will only steal at 7 if

        --it is strategical viable
--they are sure they can make it

What I saw on default was ALOT of bad Sb% in the league

The main base stealers in the game steal about 50 SBs in this day and age...at a clip of around 70%

On 15....wow, you will have double digit triple leaders and although your SB may be on track, look at the SB-CS ratio, it will be horrid...doubles would be 50 or MORE!

As for Arms...believe me I have tested arms as soon as I got the game....no more triples every 3rd game, and with accuracy on 4...throws to 2nd will be offline, so SB are fine

These aren't set in stone, but after a good amount of Franchise games (these effect those games as well) stats are looking VERY good

And you have your own sliders, that's wonderful, and I don't bash you for them...but I HIGHLY disagree with them...these have given me a feel for modern day baseball, off of what the leagues have done in terms of stats

i agree about the arm strengh.. doesnt look that fast and still, it make great bang bang plays when playing whith top defensive players ...
only diference from my sliders is that i use power at 7 and contact at 5, since i use guess pitching, 7 for power is enough to make a decent amount of hr..and extra base hits.

uh i dont have a sliders set for THE SHOW, so i dont know wtf you talking about.

I tried games with these and it all seem odd and weird, specially the super arms, how can you call that "modern day baseball" lol?.

Also runners at 2nd not going home on hits where they supposed to. Clearly thats caused by that odd 7 on aggresive base running. Just to let you know that slider is more about that then base stealing.

I am still wondering about contact and power...those are still up in the air

I may have to lower it to 4 contact and 13 or 12 power the better I get at pitch recognition

But for the CPU...I really like what 14 power does...I have had STL C MOlina and David Eckstein homer on me with mistake pitches

              Joe,

Like I said...I checked everything, runners have no problem going from 2nd to home with 15 arm

and super arms? hardly...tag up on 2nd and go to 3rd with Damon in CF...you will make it
Steal against Piazza, you will probably be succesful

But try and go home on Vlad or Ichiro...
Bunt with a fats guy on Scott Rolen
