No offense, but you can't play on rookie and get realistic stats unless you have NEVER played a baseball video game (or any video game for that matter)...ever!

I played a game on rookie just to test (I have never played the MLB series before), and I basked out 24 hits and 17 runs with the Yankees against Toronto! I hit 6 home runs and A-Rod hit two grand slams in the same game! He almost had a three homer game (and 11 RBI) if not for a leaping catch at the cf wall be Wells! Play on veteran at least...there are good sliders posted by Mizzourah on this page

Offense taken. It is possible to get realistic stats on Rookie. Just because you played one game on Rookie using the Yankees doesn't mean it is not possible. I have played several games on Rookie with the Rockies with realistic stats before moving up to Vet and AS.

As for sliders, you can try maxing pitch count and pitch speed and +2 on errors and see how that works.
