Tougher Pitching?

hey everyone....ok so i am playin with Playmakers all-star sliders, and am havin a blast. i am using classic pitching (used meter for a while-but once i switched, fell in love with classic) but i am to a point now where it is just too easy to pitch.....i rarely walk batters, and my last few games i have only given up about 4 runs. what can i do to make the pitching tougher? should i go to HOF? should i just adjust the CPU contact/power sliders on All Star? it just seems like no matter who i face, i can strike 'em out or induce the ground ball. now that's great and all, but it is getting to a point where it's getting a little too repetitive and slightly boring. this game is fantastic, dont get me wrong.....it's the best baseball vid game i have ever played, but i just want to get some more production out of teh CPU and make the pitching a little tougher for me....any advice would be greatly appreciated....

Have you tested out all 3 batting level's for the CPU that I posted?

Move up to HOF. I have never been a fan of the highest level on any sports video game because I feel they are unrealistic in that they just add modifiers to the CPU ratings.

Thats not the case with HOF in this game. The CPU just plays a smarter game but the ratings stay in tact and matter a lot.

Turn ball marker ON and everything else OFF. Use Favre4ever's HOF sliders with regard to contact and power.

If your not doing so already, pitch from the 'Outfield' cam. Some believe it makes pitching tougher. I'm experimenting with this now.

I have upped the CPU power one or two clicks higher than Favre4ever's sliders so that I will pay when I groove one. This has caused me to walk 4-8 batters a game and I love it.

I also use playmakers sliders and you don't really have to go up to HOF level. If you look at his sliders you'll find other options you set the computer at for hitting. For instance I was using the cpu contact at 4 and their power at 16 and they were crushing the ball so I had to go down a level on his slider. In your case if your pitching to well or giving up less runs since I don't know which level of playmakers cpu batting sliders your using maybe you should just go with his contact at 6 for cpu and mix it up with power at 16. That way your using a combination of his sliders still but setting the contact and power to the highest settings that he has listed for the cpu.

I'm actually using cpu conatct at 6 and power at 14 and the cpu is getting very good run production vs my Dodgers team.
