baserunning
I am using nemesis sliders on the ps3. Does anyone else notice that if a runner is going from 1st to 3rd or 2nd to home on a hit that they completely break stride and stop at the next base before they move on. Thus not running through the bag but stopping before continuing on. I have auto baserunning on assist. Any help?Cardinals Nation - For The Lou

Re: baserunning
Assist is basically the manual baserunning mode, so if you're not very good at taking extra bases, you'll probably want to set it on auto. That'll make the runners take extra bases without any user input. But yeah, on assist you have to tell them to take extra bases or else they'll only advance one.
Oh wait - I just noticed something else in your post. You HAVE to enter the command for the base you want them to run to before reaching the current one if you don't want the runner to stop. What I always do is tell the runner to go to 2nd on any outfield hit as soon as I make contact, so that he'll round off 1st. If the defense fields the ball cleanly I send him back to 1st, otherwise I really am digging for 2nd.Last edited by bcruise; 11-27-2007, 04:51 PM.Comment

Can you override the auto running or can it not be modified?Comment
