Sliders in main menu different from in-game

Has anyone noticed that there are different sliders that you can change on the "mysliders" page of the menus, compared to the ones you can change in-game? Specifically the foul ball slider is not present, and I didn't check but I'm pretty sure there are other ones. Just checking if I am crazy or not.

Yes there are different ones for some reason. Foul ball frequency, throw strike frequency, IF/OF speed, IF/OF throw strength, etc.

Anyone know what the deal with this is?

nope, you're not. i saw the same thing. the sliders in the "pause" menu when playing are those that seemed to be cut out and used for the demo. good thing when you're changing as you go along you can save them in my sliders.

The testing department did not catch the errors. The individual OF/IF sliders for throwing and running are not functional in the game and were supposed to be taken out.

IF/OF speed, IF/OF throw strength have been confirmed that they dont work...
now i wonder if the other ones(Foul ball frequency, throw strike frequency) missing in the main menu slider options also dont work, has anyone tested them?

So the only ones that work are the ones in the menus? What if you set the in-game pitch count to 0 and the menu pitch count to 20? Should we just not mess with the in-game sliders? I have adjusted the in-game sliders and the foul ball as well as some of the others seem to work. I can't be sure though.

Re: Sliders in main menu different from in-game

I don't think you can change the same slider to different settings in game vs. main menu. They still work the same. I think we should just get used to tweaking sliders in the main menu because those are the ones that count and work. Part of the problem with saving sliders from the in game menu last year were that they reset the player 2 sliders as well. Not sure if that's in this year's game or not.

Not in Order but I think these are all of them.

Unfortunately no. Only reaction time. That's the one slider I would have really liked.

They work and they'll save (if you save your sliders after the game) but just don't show up in the main menu.

Are those the only two that work? Or are there others within the game and not on the main menu that work also?

Mistakes were made, things were not caught. Overall, I think the testing department needs a little talking to this year!

what about sliders like power, timing window etc. can we play a game and adjust those in the game to see how they affect gameplay or should we adjust them before starting a game?
