My #2 goal is to give up an accurate number of hits and types of hits.
How does the Human Pitch Movement slider play out in this regard?
I always assumed that turning it up (+10 or 20) would cause my pitches to 'move more,' making it harder for me to throw strikes. But does it also make it harder for the CPU to hit the ball? In other words, turning up the slider helps me achieve goal #1 (more walks), but works against goal #2 (realistic number of hits)? If so, maybe it's best just to leave it in the middle (default).
Or maybe the slider is MORE likely to affect one of these goals than the other? Maybe it's MORE about making it hard to throw strikes, so that would argue for raising it. Or maybe it's MORE about making it really hard for the CPU to hit, which would argue for keeping it lower, maybe all the way to -10?
In other words, I just totally GUESS with regard to this slider. Thoughts?
[My questions are general in nature. If you're interested in my current setup, I have my Pitch Command on -10. I play on HOF, with CPU Hit Quality currently at +10, Foul Ball percentage at -10 (still plenty of them) and the CPU Timing Window is at default.]
