For those of you who are still searching for the "perfect" set of sliders that will make for competitive games - I am here to tell you - it can happen. Like most of here - I had slider-itis - the absolute compulsion to tweak the sliders after almost every 2 games if the stats aren't exactly to our liking. I struggled with this - because after 40+ plus games I am not sure I enjoyed anyone of them because I was constantly tweaking.
Then it happened. I took a step back and stopped tweaking - and just determined to enjoy the game and lo and behold I must have stopped at the right time. I am getting great games, "realistic" type stats, hit variety and I am loosing more than winning (which admittedly is a more than a little frustrating.) I am still not convinced this games is great out the box (with no adjustments). That being said, I think I was flat out wrong with regards to the "lack" of CPU offense, user hit variety, etc. This game truly has it all.
