Sorry brunnoce, it was over a year ago in a pm. I really do not hang on to them for that long.

I think your new name will be Perry Mason!

The way I see it, if Kolbe from SCEA told nemesis it's attribute related, then it's attribute related. Heck, Kolbe produced the game so he should know.

Maybe there is another slider that's affecting something in your set?
I am seeing the same thing nemesis and mjb are seeing.

        This is crazy...

Agreed. The lower the slider (below default of 10 clicks) the longer it takes the IF to start for the ball. At low settings (-5 to -10) I have seen SS and 2B not move to a ball at all until it is past them into the OF.

              I noticed the same...

When I turn that slider down too far (-5 or below), infielders will sometimes not react on a liner hit right next to them until the ball passes them...

When I turn the slider up pretty far (+5 or higher), it seems infielders reach most everything unless the ball is SMOKED...

I think I have it at about -3 or -4 right now and like how it plays.

ummmm... I don't know quite how to say this but ummmmmm, I am starting to believe that brounnce(sp? sorry) may be on to something. I was playing a few games using Nem's sliders and he has -10 FRT and I am seeing guys make better plays on the ball then when I was using +2 FRT..

I don't know what to think now..

                    Re: Fielding Reaction Time

i have interest in this as well. I've been testing -10 and +10 ,mainly been watching the OF, and on +10 with the outfield, to me it seems different pursuit angles to the ball. On -10 the outfield was reacting later but taking a more direct path to the ball. On +10 the were reacting somewhat quicker but taking the path to where the ball would land. THe two plays were balls hit down the first base line They were similar hit balls, but the outfielder was JD drew, a decent RF. I replayed both plays in slow mo, but who knows. Just thought I'd add a thought

I am convinced on this, in the negative it stays! That is my final answer!

Ok, I am 65/35 that the slider works the way brunnoce(haha quoted you so I could spell your name) said it does.

I am going to play my next 5 games with my original gameplay tweaks with the slider at -10 and see what happens.
