    Newbie to sliders discussions.

    Sorry if I am beating a dead horse here but I am more of a rosters/music customizing guy and don't really mess with sliders all that much.

    I have started a franchise on HoF. It is super fun on default sliders.

    The only problem that I have is that the CPU hitters kind of suck. I almost always limit them to less than 3 runs. Crappy teams like the Nationals and the Pirates almost don't score against me.

    Are there any slight adjustments that I can make to make the CPU hitters better if this is really my only complaint?

    I have already moved "CPU hit quality" up two notches and "CPU Power" up one notch. Do these sliders have much effect on game? Have I moved the sliders to little?

    Thanks in advance!

    PRIME

    10 = 7 + 3 = 5 + 5

      In the CPU pitch control thread (which I feel is the most informative slider thread, read it and you'll learn a lot), someone mentioned that lowering hit quality actually results in more singles and less extra base hits. Thus, lowering that slider results in more total hits. So, lowering player hit quality will result in more hits for you, and increasing CPU hit quality will result in less hits for the CPU.

      Lastly, try turning off pitcher confidence. Once I did this, the CPU started hitting me better (especially my 3, 4, & 5 starters) for whatever reason.

        Im a bit new when it comes to sliders as well and have this question. When people have ex: cpu power+5
        cpu contact+4
        cpu reaction +1

        Does this mean four clicks to the right using the d-pad?

        Thanks so much

          cpu power +5 (or 15) = 5 clicks to the right from defaut (which is 10).
