Nemisis sliders post patch
This needs to be a new thread. Has anyone used nems sliders post patch? If anyone or Nem yourself has played some games, let me know how they are working or if their going to need change. I think the CPU offense will still be too weak on default no matter what they did to HOF gameplay but I want to play a short season with Nems sliders to see how it works.Tags: None -

Well, I use a tweaked version of his and I haven't seen any difference in gameplay at all. I have no idea what the patch possibly could have fixed.Highheat's O's Franchise

I didn't change a thing with these sliders and I see no difference. A lot of people are saying HOF is much more challenging now but i see no difference whatsoever. I've played several games and the scores are generally the same as before. I see the AI as no more of a threat then I did pre-patch.Comment

Nothing?
I haven't got many games in...
I was hoping that the OF reaction was tweaked. Brian had discussed that with me a little....and I was hoping I wouldn't have to edit that for the Full Minors Rosters.
Are you guys under the impression NOTHING has been improved gameplay wise?(more work..well the same...I just thought I might catch a break!

Here are some areas I feel have been addressed that I posted in my thread:
At first look, I did not see too much difference post patch. The more I play, I think I have a different opinion.
Some things I have been noticing post patch:
1- The hit variety seems to be elevated here. I have been seeing some interesting flare type hits.
2- The control with classic pitching has been reduced and seems to be more like 07
3- The human offense seems to be toned down a little in regards to left stick aiming. When the game was first released, it seemed like you got a huge contact bonus for making a perfect left stick match with the ball.
4- The cpu offense seems to be a little more livelier but not to the degree of 07. They are starting to get more extra base hits this go around.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Thanks! The only thing I want to see is if we can lower the HQ for the cpu. I do not like that we have to set it so high. I dont know about the lack of changes. I just played my first game Post Patch (my Tigers vs W.Sox), using my HOF sliders that I created before the patch and my game was scoreless going into the 9th. I then realized that I never loaded any rosters before I started so it was using the default that shipped with the game.
So, my next game, same teams and sliders but this time I loaded the 4/14 roster. Needless to say, I quit after the 1st inning because I was losing 9-1. They scored 7 runs before I could get an out. I don't know if the rosters have something to do with it but whatever changed between game 1 and 2, took me by surprise. That was the first real pounding I have encountered since buying the game.Gamertags
