I'll have to go back and check the numbers. I'm averaging around 3-4 runs a game, and giving up the same.

Re: Monk31's PSP Sliders: For Experienced players only
I am doing better, though, as I've won 5 of my last 6 and am just 5 games out of first and 2 back in the wild card with the Mets.Currently Playing:

Re: Monk31's PSP Sliders: For Experienced players only
Monk, any suggestions for me? I've lost 5 of my last 6 games after winning 4 straight. My last game, I was up 5-1 in the 7th and wound up losing 6-5.
Biggest thing I'm seeing is a lack of HR's from my power hitters, specifically Beltran and Delgado.Currently Playing:

Well you can always bump up the power slider about 3 clicks or so. Perhaps you are being too agressive also? I find I do much better when I sit for a certain trajectory out of the hand of the pitcher and if it isn't there I'll lay off early in the count. Doing so puts you in a lot of hitter's counts that makes it easier to drop some more bombs. I recently went on a stretch of 4 games without any HR's. But then the next game i had 4 in one and I believe it was because of my own personal plate discipline.Comment

Monk, any other tweaks to this set? I'm still playing this game and enjoying it, even if I'm struggling with the Mets (7 games back of Philly right now with just over a month to go)Currently Playing:

Re: Monk31's PSP Sliders: For Experienced players only
Thank goodness there are sliders out there for the PSP being worked on here.
I started out 6-5, then went on to win my next 16 in a row and I feel unstoppable ... I was hoping for a PSP slider thread to get a more balanced and challenging game.
Gonna give these a shot.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
