Im still confused how to use classic. so i just tap X and let go? or tap, then tap agani at some point??? I really want to use classic cuz like u said, it takes focus off the game, and classic gets the meter off the screen, making it look even more realistic. Ive now turned off runner icon, and fielding catch icon off, looks much better and realistic when playing. maybe one day i'll be good enough to turn strike zone off and ball icon off when pitching lol.

Throwing errors? havent seen any really since goingg to -5, prolly go up 2, making it -3 would be a good idea, then play a good 8-10 gms and see if u have any, then adjust. i just know at default was too many occuring.

OK so the scoring on fielding errors must be broken. I saw my 3b completely bobble a ground ball allowing the runner to get on. no error??!!?? i dunno what has to happen in order for it to be an error.

Like I said you cant tweak off of one game Derosa lol.
Classic pitch just try it dont worried about double tap (forget it ) work on whos your pitcher and location just like real ball dont throw 3 k down the middle , fastball high Cu low .
Gotta work corners and then surprise the batter I k baters everywhere , fool um
have fun just practice youll get it .
I use second tap after I throw a pitch wide to have it break back in when possible I do it when the ball is heading towards the plate out of my hand

ok, playing this game using classic, control was awful 1st inning, but sowers has turned it around now striking out 6 thru 4 so far at 61 pitches. i just tap only everytime, and as far as how i pitch, i always pitch using api. I place the ball cursor exactly where the catcher chooses for me, of course i compensate for breaking pitches. so far so good. looks much more realistic! Turn off field catch crsor, thorwing rings, and baserunner icon too... makes it look even more realistic, like watching a real game!

Wow just sailed a throw way over 1b I will move it to -3 as I just dont random bad errors on throw error global.
Classic pitch tip
1-2 on giambi I threw a inside FB with joba no way a strike but just before it went home I tap/held a sec x bottom and its velocity made it go more inside and he swung and missed :wink:

ok, so with throwing errors at -3, pitcher overthrew 1b for KC by a mile on a weak hit grounder back to him. I am gonna "freak out" and move to -4 now lol.. only cuz it happened the first game of testing. -4 shouldd be ok

yep -3 may still be bad jeter on a routine grounder threw it bad in the dirt like he was trying to I hope this isnt tied in with the power or wev will have to blend it .
DONT BE ATRAID to make classic pitching mistakes thats how you learn .
Some times I cruise threw and then i get shelled you gotta weather the storm
Stay ahead in the count and use waste pitches to get early strike that can only be fouled off

Trin the cpu does swing at balls for Ks if fooled .
Dont be afraid to walk or pick corners as certain players can kill you
Man these sliders have it all !

Are u guys usin API like i do? meaning throw where catcher suggests and thorw pitch type?? I played full game, took forever cuz of that 8 run 1st inning. heres the box score:

KC 2 10 1
CLE 15 12 2 Had 2 fielding errors, with derosa and paralta. good cuz Indians fielders arent good anyway other than sizemore.

ckarlic, as far as i know they were uploaded, look back a couple pages on this thread and look.

I use API, and have everything setup the way you do, have some pretty good games so far.

By the way good luck on the job hunting Trinity, I just got layed off myself last Thursday, problem is in this small town I live in there are no jobs.

Is anyone using these sliders with guess pitch off? IKm gonna try it for one gm and see if i can still hit. last 3 gms Ive scored a total of 32 runs! I think my timing is good now finally, and need to turn it off. i can see balls versus strikes easier now. will post results of game. its last of 3 game series against KC. C. Lee vs K. Davies

No guess pitch I told you in my first post no need just play ball , the same goes for pitch meter.
Youll enjoy the game instead of meters , guessing pitches while trying to take a leadoff , so just sit back relax and enjoy , these sliders are for sim purists who dont reliy on gimmics.

We made some changes to the global Fielder Throw error -3 .
I only play guess pitch off and classic pitch for that true mlb feel .
Trinity did we change anything else since I submitted it ?

Guys I basically keep all aids off ! accept ball marker is on fade .
If pitching is to easy turn off ball marker ,I also may turn off throw meter as I have the button touch down pat.

I got throw error at -4 now, so far no errors thru 2 gms since changing from -3.

Ya... guess pitch off is much more realistic. im lovin classic pitching too! just tap X and enjoy a tru sim gameplay experience

U did get baserunner steal ability at +2 right? too many times im seeing CS for me and against. however, its rare cpu attempts. with auto base running, they attempt for u, but rare, so thinking of bumping frequency up to +1??

i already turned off throw meter. Also turned off runner windows, tag up indicator, catch regionposition is all off since its on auto fielding. looks better! like u said, all aids are off now, ceptstrike zone is on, and ball indicator is set to fade

Trinity I dont like that throw out at 3b crap !!! on a tag up , 1st to 3b ect . To dead on always out ?
I may add baserunner speed +1 and lower steal abilty -1 . to make it more random , too bad no accuracy throw slider.
To check stats try simming a few seasons and see if they are realistic.
