Been using people's sliders on all-star or hof but have a question

I am somewhat new to the show and have been trying some of these sliders. I play on all-star and have begun play on hall of fame. I'm hoping somebody could tell me what options or sliders I need to raise or lower from their default levels to help the following out... so far the two things that seem to happen way too much by both my team and the cpu is...

1: the amount of hr a game that both of us are hitting.. I would say it's rare if there aren't at least 4 HRs hit in a game and alot of these are off #1 starters and sometimes by hitters that almost never hit HRs.

2: when a hitter strikes out at a ball in the dirt it's a passed ball and around half the time the guy ends up making it safely to first... While this does happen every now and then, its nowhere near as much as it is in my games

    1) Are you getting too many hits period or just too many home runs? If you are getting too many hits I would drop the contact sliders and possibly the solid hit slider as well. If its just too many home runs then drop the solid hit slider down and possibly the contact slider.

    2) It's a shame they removed the passed ball slider from last year. The only way to help fix this is to increase pitcher consistency. That will reduce bean balls and passed balls but also help them hit their spots more consistently which could hurt the offense (you might like that).

    Hope that helps.
