    Would appreciate slider help please

Hey guys. I'm thinking I would like some help please. I just changed my roster and added all hall of fame players on my team. I started a new franchise on rookie. My pitching is classic and use default sliders.

My pitchers are wild. Way more then what I think it should be like. 59 pitches in 2 innings wild. I used christy mathewson as my starting pitcher playing against the padres in game 1 of spring training. Alot of 3-2 counts and in my opinion the cpu fouls way too many balls. The cpu got many hits in the 4 innings i used christy and 3 runs. I forget how many hits. like 9 i think. Then i bring in lefty gomez and he's way wild too. Pitched balls are all over the place lol. cpu hitters seem too good for in my opinion how they should be against hall of famers and in rookie etc. cpu pitching is a problem too. way to many strikes. called strikes, not like i swing at everything cus i don't. my hitting power etc seemed way too low too.

So I would like advice and suggestions. The cpu pitchers didn't seem to walk anyone or at least I want the cpu pitcher to throw way more balls for more walks. I have in exhibition at least tried lowering sliders for cpu pitching to 0 for strike percentage, accuracy etc and it made the cpu even better then default. hardly any balls thrown. i don't get it. or it seemed to make the cpu better.

What I would like is more offense for me and less for cpu. more pitching for me and less cpu. I like things easier. I want the cpu pitcher to walk lots of guys and give up lots of long balls to me. I'm not talking hr derby type, but a bit more then avg. I tried making sliders to 0 for making things better for me and worse for cpu but sometimes i got the impression it made the cpu pitching better or i didn't notice a change. So I'm not sure were to put the sliders.

I'd think raising human power, timing, contact etc would give me more offense. Lowering cpu contact, power, timing etc would make them k more and hit less. Lowering cpu control accuracy, strike percentage etc would make the cpu throw more balls and walk me alot more. However it doesn't seem to. I have a hard time telling.

So I would really appreciate some guidance/help/suggestions please.

    Thanks a lot

It sounds like it, but i dont mean that much.
I don't get it in that i have already and there doesn't seem to be a difference.

Why would the cpu pitcher not throw balls when cpu pitching is all 0? No walks doesn't make sense.

I agree with what you are seeing, for the most part.

I think it is WAY easier to pitch than to hit in this game. And that's pitching using Classic, with the ball marker on fade, from pitcher's view..... all choices I've made to make pitching hard as possible while still fun for me.

At the moment (and this could change), I am heading for All-Star difficulty, but with my hitting sliders up or left at default and CPU's turned way up.

And pitching consistency and strike frequency all the way to the left (-5), otherwise there are WAY too many strikes on both sides of the ball.
