    just as in "real life".
Depends, if he lowered it because of too many injuries and while having it at 0 is still getting injuries just at a more reasonable rate then I dont see the problem. Im on default and other then injuries to guys in my minor leagues, of which I never play those games anyways, Ive yet to have a single injury to anyone on my big league club through nearly 40 games so far.

I think maybe in overall terms you would be right. But setting injuries at 0 doesn't effect the gameplay itself, which is more important I think. Injuries are difficult to gauge since they are more of a random occurance and not something you can really compare statistically with the real MLB.

Not one bit. I care about getting the gameplay to play right, and the sliders are doing just that. I even gave a disclaimer that it's a completely optional slider anyway. If you want to play with injuries, so be it, feel free to leave it at default or whatever.

Injuries are arbitrary, or "variable"...it's not a statistic that affects "sim" gameplay, as you put it

Personally I feel injuries happen way too frequently anyway to key players and when I play a Season with a team, I chose them to play with their players and not worry about injuries. Don't know why that goes against "sim" gameplay, lol....let me guess, you do fantasy drafts and CPU trades too right? That doesn't sound like real life rosters.

Thanks chief but I knew exactly what he meant as him and I have been bouncing ideas for sliders back and forth in here for awhile now. If you notice this is why I explained the reason for him having it so low but also pointed out that I have it at default and havent been seeing any injuries to my big league club so far to show that its all a personal preference type of slider.

Re: Breaking this Game Down on AllStar ,group effort

I have been using these sliders for the last few games and they are great. They only things Ive been having trouble with is striking out the cpu and hitting home runs on offense. It might be a coincidence but thats about the only thing Ive been struggling with.

                  Any advice?

Some have theorized that the CPU's plate discipline lies in the "timing" slider. At 4 and 5 you will see more strikeouts, especially if contact is 4 and less.
