Help with pitcher control slider and pitcher consistency slider please

What is the difference in this game between the pitcher control slider and the pitcher consistency slider ?

Pitcher control I'm taking it to mean that you can help or hinder a pitcher's control attribute and has nothing to do with your actual skill. For example, if I'm playing against or using a pitcher that has really good control and great at locating all his pitches (a greg maddux type) if I reduce the pitcher control slider, does the computer automatically makes it so that his control is not as good, no matter where I aim the pitch to be thrown. Meaning I might aim a fastball to be off the outside corner, but because the pitcher control slider is lower it could end up over the middle of the plate instead. Vice versa for raising the slider against or using a pitcher (Dontrelle Willis) with poor control to make him more accurate. I guess this rule would apply to any pitcher.

Pitcher consistency I'm taking it to mean that the pitchers (again doesn't matter who it is) pitches will do what they are sposed to do. For example, if a guy throws a slider or curve that is sposed to break down, the higher you raise the pitcher consistency slider the more likely that pitch will actually break down as opposed to being a hanger and getting crushed. Obviously vice versa for lowering it.

Right now I am going back and forth playing between all-star and hall of fame and seem to have trouble with the pitching. I play on classic view, have been going with no ball indicator, but now have been thinking about trying fade.

Hi the descriptions are right on the sliders screen .
Control is how accurate , Consistency adjusts the reliabilty of his accuracy , wild pitches ect .
But IMO all this years sliders are some dont work in the traditional way .

Yeah I think something might be up too. For me it's really a big problem when I try to pitch down. it seems like there is no medium between either having a ball bounce or come in low and go off the catcher's glove or leave it up too much and the hitter crushes it.

The biggest problem with the ball getting away from the catcher is it happens alot on strike 3 and the guy reaches first or when there are guys on and they move up a base. I know this does happen in baseball, but around 5 times a game seems a little excessive especially the runner reaching first on a drop third strike, I see that maybe once a week probably not even that much. The fact that the announcers always call it a pass ball instead of wild pitch leaves me to believe it's just a bug or flaw in the game. I've tried turning the fielder and pitching sliders up and having a great defensive catcher (Yadier Molina) and it still happens alot.

I'm too lazy to reword what I said in the past, so I'll just bring you to my old posts on the subject matter:

Note that this is only a theory and isn't based off any actual experimenting with these sliders in particular, but rather with long-term observations when making up my own actual sliders. This theory could be far off, but I really don't think it is.
