Pitcher control I'm taking it to mean that you can help or hinder a pitcher's control attribute and has nothing to do with your actual skill. For example, if I'm playing against or using a pitcher that has really good control and great at locating all his pitches (a greg maddux type) if I reduce the pitcher control slider, does the computer automatically makes it so that his control is not as good, no matter where I aim the pitch to be thrown. Meaning I might aim a fastball to be off the outside corner, but because the pitcher control slider is lower it could end up over the middle of the plate instead. Vice versa for raising the slider against or using a pitcher (Dontrelle Willis) with poor control to make him more accurate. I guess this rule would apply to any pitcher.
Pitcher consistency I'm taking it to mean that the pitchers (again doesn't matter who it is) pitches will do what they are sposed to do. For example, if a guy throws a slider or curve that is sposed to break down, the higher you raise the pitcher consistency slider the more likely that pitch will actually break down as opposed to being a hanger and getting crushed. Obviously vice versa for lowering it.
Right now I am going back and forth playing between all-star and hall of fame and seem to have trouble with the pitching. I play on classic view, have been going with no ball indicator, but now have been thinking about trying fade.
