    Ok here we go Psycho...

    Offensive Stats through 10 games

    .232 AVG
    9 Homeruns
    17 Walks
    84 Strikeouts

So as you see I need to work on my offense, I think I'm getting better as I go along though. It's early, a 10 game stretch is nothing to get to worked up over.

    Pitching Stats

    3.94 ERA
    3 Saves
    31 Walks
    88 Strikeouts

Just curious about the Relief stamina being set to 0. Is that really necessary?

When I go on Sports Connect to find these sliders, what name will they be under.....Psycho? Are they available to DL online?

His original slliders are but not his most recent one posted on page 16. Just go to that page and put them in yourself. everything is in order as well.

Yes i think it is, otherwise relievers can almost stay in 4/5 innings at will, some as long as starters, on 0 they can work long enough if they pitch well but tire naturally faster than starters as they should.

Braves, thanks for the stats, they will change and even out im sure.

Heres my stats through my last 7 exhibition games (4-3) with v1.3...

            Hitting:

            .303 AVG
            2 Homeruns
            15 doubles
            3 triples
            .361 OBP
            18 Walks
            54 Strikeouts

            Pitching:

            67 IP
            3.08 ERA
            2 Saves
            13 Walks
            45 Strikeouts

I have mostly played with low power teams in pitching parks so my low homers dont bother me, the other power numbers are fine, as you can see im averaging nearly 3 walks a game and i expect that to go up. Pitching wise its ok, maybe not enough walks but thats me pitching aggressively, again that will change when i get into my franchise, and bare in mind this is only 7 games, so my high batting avg is also likely to come down, but .300 through a 7 game stretch is fine, MLB often do that or better.

Just played a great 10 inning game, me Rays vs Angels, i walked 5 times, struck out 8, walked 3 CPU men struck out 8, really tight game i had far more men on base throughout but failed to drive enough in - my fault.

            LAA 5 9 0
            TB 3 12 0

Im really loving how the sliders are playing now, and thats not to blow my own trumpet you guys know me better than that, but they are really nice at the moment, if i play poorly im losing if i play well im winning, just as it should be really, with a nice grey area inbetween.

The more i play this game the more i love it, honestly.

              Psycho,
Thanks for doing these this year as I really enjoyed your set last year.
              Couple of quick questions.
Hows the hit variety ....choppers,bloops, slow rollers wall shots ect......
Also are you walking many batters with pitch control set so high.
              Thanks Psycho
Looking foreward to checking these out tonight.

Yes, hit variety is not a problem at all, i only thought that to myself as i played that Rays/Angels game described above, i blooped one out to LF with Carl Crawford then hit an absolute laser to the deep LF wall with BJ Upton, variation is fine.

Walking, yes i am, and more so each time i play as i nibble more and more, of course walking the CPU is a lot to do with how you pitch as a human as well as sliders, if you throw 90% strikes you wont walk many, i think i threw 59% strikes in that game just gone. The control/consistency is only 1 above default anyway.

Its all there, if you play the game in the correct way, if you get me

How do these play on legend difficulty? I am torn between these and skyboxers legend sliders.

Anyone tried the latest version out on legend?

I know I said I had no plans editing these anytime soon. Well, anytime soon has passed. I had to knock CPU power down a notch. I was getting crushed by 8th and 9th hitters, one being Greg Zaun. He hit 3 HR in my most recent series against the O's, all batting 9th. It was getting to the point where I couldn't throw anything over the plate or it was getting hit out. I switched it down to 5 for the CPU and it's been better. All other extra base hits seem really good with these, just the HRs that's bugging me. I've given up league worst 67 homers. Next closest to me is 53.

What are you guys all seeing as far as CPU homers?

I've only seen homers on pitches that I missed. After I turned off API I'm fine with pitching. If I make a mistake the CPU makes me pay sometimes.

I'm still struggling with the bat though.

The CPU will homer off of me if I make a mistake but not always. I think the power is fine as is. As long as I mix my pitches and don't throw fastballs belt high down the middle I'm fine. It's just like real baseball, you better have a gameplan.

They really need to fix two things and this game would be perfect, despite me not being able to win.

                            1. The ability to judge what pitch is being thrown. This is a pretty important thing to be able to do in a baseball game. I've tried different camera angles and changing pitch speed, but every pitch looks the same until it hits the catcher's glove and then you get to see how it broke.

                            2. Pitching confidence seems to have no effect on the CPU pitchers. In fact, they seem to get better with men on base. And why is it that if I visit the mound twice in an inning I have to substitute my pitcher, but the same rule doesn't apply to the CPU?

I agree with #2, but I have no idea what you mean about #1. The pitch trajectories look perfectly fine to me. I use the default Catcher view btw, which is the best IMO. I stick with the default pitch speed too.
