    RTTS Sliders... Need Your Input...

Still waiting for roster/bug fixes for the franchise but having played plenty of games on HOF and also with Skyboxx's Legend sliders on Legend mode, I have no problem with using them from a Major League standpoint.

HOWEVER, my 2b starts off with horrible stats (as we all know), and I find myself hitting a consistent .240-.250 on both sky's legend mode and HOF mode. I'm in my 3rd year, about half way through it as a backup 2b in AAA, and producing RBI's at a mediocre level, yet it is quite difficult to be consistent (NEVER been on a hot streak, just the occasional/frequent cold streak)

I'm still gaining attributes (C contact, D fielding, F power, bad speed) but still bad as you can see.

What is everyone else using for RTTS? Personally, I don't care if it takes 4-5 years in the minors to get my stats good enough to hit .280 before i get called up, AS LONG AS IT HAPPENS EVENTUALLY LOL.

    Any personal experiences???

Re: RTTS Sliders... Need Your Input...

I'm seeing similar numbers in my HOF RTTS using the default sliders. I'm in the beginning of my second year and though I finished my rookie year with a bang, I only ended up hitting .227 as a CF/2B with no homers, 30 RBI and 35 SB (27 CS ). Needless to say, I was not invited to the Boston Red Sox spring training camp in my second year.

After three weeks in my second year, I'm seeing better power numbers (my first three hits were doubles and hit my first career homer - damn, that felt nice!) but my average is still stinkin' it up at .221. I hit .380 in my last month of my first year, so I'm hoping I get on a hot streak somehow. I'm striking out a lot less this year, but I'll get on streaks where I'll strike out 5 or 6 times in a series. What kills my average is all the weak rollers I end up hitting to the pitcher or the catcher.

My attribute report card sounds like it's the same as yours. Overall, I'm rated at a C with C for Contact, F for Power, D for Fielding, C for Speed and of course, A for potential.

My manager is pushing hard for better fielding with my current goals, but with any leftover training points, I'm going to be pumping them into Speed and Baserunning skills as a feel like I'm just at the brink of being able to steal most bases as long as I'm not being stupid. The additional stolen bases should then feed my hitting, power and durability attributes. I'm hoping for a AAA call-up in my third year with hitting the Show by my fourth. How's everyone else doing?

    Thanks,
