sliders more responsive at higher difficulty?
has anybody noticed that sliders seem to be more responsive at the higher levels?(h.o.f./legend) for the longest time i was trying to adjust sliders on veteran and getting very strange results(e.g. cpu would play like you were on legend or something) no matter what i did to the sliders. i tried veteran w/no sliders. it was ok but i could hit over .330 as a team through 50 games so i wanted to move up. skipped all-star for some reason and tried h.o.f. i could hit fine, but i got rocked on the mound. tweaked the sliders(dropped pitch speed/improved my pitch control/consistency/cpu strike freq/and cpu pitching a tad) now through 35 games in my new season i'm batting .273 with a team e.r.a. of 3.95. has anyone else had better results on h.o.f. or legend than the lower levels, or is it just me? just curious.Tags: None -
Re: sliders more responsive at higher difficulty?
I really believe that it's an individual gamer thing more than anything else. The more I see of some of the postings I believe that the individual gamer ability has the most weight, just my opinion. It's like the guys who can play through Resident Evil 5 in four hours and it would take me a month, lol.
The game comes with five difficulty levels, a bunch of sliders and it really should fit most peoples gameplay desires, but I do know of some gamers who, even on LEGEND say the game is too easy, so go figure.
I wouldn't go near LEGEND mode (well, I have, but it wasn't pretty). I'm at a perfect level for me at ALLSTAR with some minor slider tweaks.
