What have you fellas found to be good for Fielder Reaction and Fielder Speed ??

I am using Fielder Speed at 1 and Fielder Reaction at 10. have only been doing it a short time, but I have seen smooth animations. What are your thoughts and experiences?? Thanks

You definitely have to lower fielder run speed a lot, which you've done. Fielder reaction just isn't a powerful slider this year. Last year, you can see the difference moving it one notch. I have fielder reaction at 2/10. However, like I said, this slider is extremely weak. Basically, any value should play about the same.

Im using Speed -5 and Reaction at default...

For me the only issue with the fielders are that theyre too quick, solved by lowering their speed slider.

Since you've implemented these, have you seen more balls get into the gaps and go over the fielders heads?

I can only assume that... although i cant really confirm it since ive done these adjustments since day 1, so i have barely 4 or 5 games on default, didnt need more than that to see how fast the Of were chasing everything down(Everyone looked like ichiro)

Fielder Speed = 0
Fielder Reaction = 5

Fielder Speed definitely needs to be turned down to either 0 or 1.

It solved the problem for me of outfielders chasing everything down.

I turned up Reaction because it seems to affect the Infielders more and they were letting way too many balls go right through their gloves or even legs.

I have fielder speed at 1 and have seen twice now in my limited amount of games where two of the outfielders have both dove at the same time on balls in the gap and came up empty. On one of them the ball rolled out to the wall in left center at AT&T and my hitter, Renteria" ended up with an inside the park hr.

I turned down fielder spped way to and now I can get doubles hit into the gap. I turned down reaction speed -2 and -3 to see what happens, and I find I get too many cheap hits and a lot of cheap double down the line. It ssems to make my infielders play like old men who dont want to bend down and pick up a ball.

personally....3 speed, 8 reaction time but it really depends alot on how they fit together with all the other sliders (how fast the ball is moving off the bat, etc).

baserunning speed 7

so far this seems to make it true to life. Doubles down the line are doubles. Hits into the gap are doubles or triples depending on the stats of the runner. I may have to change it some more to get the real life baseball timing accurate as I can get it.

I have speed and reaction at 3 (or down two from default). I see a good amount of gappers and doubles down the line, but still some great catches.

I also have hitting jacked up so that could play into it.
