Fielders speed=0 and bunting... do we have a problem?

I'm using an slight edited version of Psycho perfect sliders (solid hits to 1 instead of 0 and pitchers control 5 instead of 6 if i remember well).

I have noticed that most of sliders posted here use fielders speed=0 to help with doubles/tripes, as outfielders on default are too fast and also placed too deep in the field, so they catch most of deep balls.

The problem i have noticed in my RTTS career with a CF (65 speed and about 20 in bunting) is that every time i have a successful bunt (i mean hit into the infield, no popup or fault etc) i can reach 1B with my 65 speed CF, to the point that i'm starting to feel that i'm cheating the CPU if i bunt for hit.

Could it be related to the fielders speed slider? I know most of use only noticed the speed difference on outfielders, but maybe it was only because they are the ones who usually have to run to catch a ball unlike infielders that play more based on reaction, but when you bunt, and the infielders or pitcher need to run to catch the ball and throw to 1B, the speed=0 is making almost impossible for them to do it in time.

    Thoughts?

Im using another set of sliders and i posted it on that sliders thread too. The fielder speed at 0 is the reason you can bunt and NOT being caught at 1st base EVERYTIME!

I upped it to 1 and never saw that problem again...

I get thrown out at 1st when sacrificing. You must be laying down good bunts and the CPU isn't playing in bunt position......nothing wrong on this end.

After about 80 games in my season I switched the fielder speed slider from 0 to 1 because of infielder speed. It makes a noticable difference. For me it was to decrease the number of ground balls that were just out of the reach of the infielder but too close to dive for. I can see it helping with bunt defense too.

my $.02...... I have reax @ zero and fielder speed @four. Plays beautiful.... no weird and/or rushed animations...no need to have the throw power jacked up to max to get guys out....after a month of tweaking I am seeing what I like
