Baserunner Steal Frequency

someone here posted that this slider is reversed. Is this true or no?

i want to make the cpu try to steal more often.

No, it's not.


Set it to (8) -- You'll start to see a real threat when you get the Crawford type players on the base paths.

I believe some have it set to (10) so test it out and see what you like best.

Steal frequency is not reversed, but it seems that the steal ability slider is though.

8-10 is good for frequency, personally I have Ability at 3

thanks paris. you think 8-10 is where i should move it? i only played 1 game with it moved up to 6 and the cpu didnt try even 1. it was only 1 game, but i will give 8 a try

yea, at least 8.

start with that until you start seeing the CPU take off. You can even just test games against teams with speedsters. Intentionally walk Ellsbury or Figgins or whatever and see if they attempt steals. I know at Default, I wasn't seeing any running game from the CPU.

Personally I have it at 10, but a lot of people have reported good results with 8.

thanks for the feedback. i played 2 with it at 8 against toronto and still no attempts. Not alot of speed on that team but their speedy guys had opps to run. i am gonna go up to 10 and go back from there if needed.

I have it at 10 and its perfect with my slider set , Pierre and Reyes are really agressive and I actually now see the cpu hit n run .
