Start a franchise and play pretty good. Now after a month of the season all my hitters have gone in a massive slump. In 3 consecutive series I hit .200, .210 and.234. I have no idea whats going on. I know I'll struggle hitting but everyone at once??? The pitches I usually crushed ar enow dribblers. WTF?

Its called forced AI, its built into the game so maybe try raising you hitting or lowering cpu pitching when the trend starts if it bothers you that much .
I play on Veteran for many of your same reasons as its frustrates me when I hit a ball the sameway and it basically doesnt matter much as skill and timing mean very little when the game wants to do what it wants .
Its also why sliders arent done in a traditonal way as theres just no way they can make this a slider based game with giving sim results most want .
They really improved the feel of the game from last year near perfect IMO so maybe go to a lower level if you want better results or less drastic trends .
Good luck and remember to play alot of games before changing your sliders as they normally go full circle and trust me theres a happy medium for all slider wise

Sympathize, man.
Just got shutout twice by the Pirates.
But before that, I was third in the league in batting average and first in runs scored.
