Converting back from 2K - Rookie Sliders?

I love MLB 2K10, it is so easy to pitch and bat - and I used to even lose. Now, I am back to MLB The Show. I been toggling with difficulties (don't know anything much about sliders) and found that Rookie Batting is my specialty but I am rocking the pitcher left and right.

Pitching.. I can't even paint the corners. I think this is why I went the MLB 2K10 route because its so hard. I put it on Rookie and Classic pitching, still to no avail I flat out stink. I don't get any strike outs and when the batter does hit the ball, hes usually out.

Please tell me there is a slider set for Rookie. I don't want to use Veteran because you have to use the left stick.

Optional question: Any pitching tips? I will ask about the pitching tips in the main forum if you do not have an answer.

    Thank you for your time

Leave everything on Default for now, but turn down User Contact to 2, up User Control to 7

Do the same for the CPU.

Thanks a lot Paris, works very good so far. I feel like I am actually playing MLB 2K (minus the analog stick pitching controls).

ParisB Rookie Simulation Slider Set it is!
